Look at the positives. 100yards from the beach and fine dining. An excellent hostess in Irene who kindly offered a cooking treat for us and welcomed us with open arms. This is our 5th trip to Santorini and 4th stay at the Glaros, so there must be something right about this accommodation. I challenge you to sit outside your room... More

Santorini, no doubt an established prime Greek island resort, it has recently achieved a first place in popularity worldwide according to a voting of an international federation of tour operators. It owes this place to a unique combination of lovely beaches, historical sites and particular volcanic characteristics, all blended beautifully with diverse leisure opportunities. Its main town of Fira situated... More

we stayed in santorini for 5 days. The owner of the hotel Gianni is very nice, and helpful. The hotel is not the best place in santorini, but for the money...its great! we were so closed to the beach we could walk, enjoy some swimming in the sea and go back to shower. They have internet, but not in our... More

This is not in Firi central it is by the beach away from crowds - Has all the shops, restaurants, beach close by (as in within the area) everything is so close. This is a family owned hotel and they will go out of their way to try and help out in anyway they can. Rooms are good size and... More

not what it seems, not for accuracy has nothing to do with what they show website. The bathroom was the awful i have ever seen, and the water was salty. It was difficult to find it.

I read all the reviews with trepidation, after having booked our two week holiday. I obviously had a very different experience to anyone else staying there. The people were really friendly and, although not speaking much English (it is a foreign country and it isnt a requirement!) they made every effort possible to be friendly and welcoming. The owner Yannis... More

The owners were very nice but that was it. Difficult to find the Guest House, hardly anyone locally even knew where it was. The electricity had gone off 6 times. There was a cockroach in our room. An awful experience. Very close to the perissa beach - only 2 mins walking distance away from the perissa beach. The beach was beautiful... More

Glaros is close to the beach, but not right on the main road, it's just a minute or two down a side street. The rooms were not great. Beds were uncomfortable and the shower had no clip to hold it so my husband had to hold it up for me so I could rinse my hair. The room wasn't very... More
