We stayed at Cas'almare last year and it is a lovely guest house on the coast. It is not a hotel and you should not expect the services of a hotel aside from breakfast. As an example, we were told the evening drinks/tapas plate would not be available as the housekeeper had a family issue. Although we are considerate, that... More

Having been in Sicily a few times now we decided to book a week at the hotel and use it as a base to relax and explore the neighbouring islands and Trapani/Erice. The hotel is a short cycling trip (10 minutes) aways from the town center. Enough to have real privacy and "get away from it all" as well as... More

We had three nights at Cas'almare. A really nice place to stay, completely away from the world. View from the house was perfect - directly across to Levanzo, Lovely to lie in bed at night and listen to the sea crashing onto the rocks just outside - sleeping with the windows open and the sea breeze blowing through was very... When we arrived at Cas'almare, the lovely hotel manager, Elena, underlined us that the spirit of the property really reflects its name which is literally "seaside home", because this is exactly the dreamed sea house I guess everybody would love to have. But with the additional comfort that there are people who are trying their best to make you experience... More

Having spent one week between Palermo and Trapani and having seen some breathtaking beaches and stayed at enchanting B&Bs, the highly rated island of Favignana left us somewhat under-satisfied... A nice place, but too touristic and massively overpriced compared to the rest of Sicily. Cas'almare is a perfect representation of this... A beatiful place in a stunning location...but you pay... I stayed at cas'alamare for 2 nights in September. The island of favignana is naturally breathtaking whilst the hotel itself is trully remarkable. The hotel is unique as it was once a traditional Italian home which has been renovated in to a boutique hotel. The feel is authentic Italian and the views from the terrace area and private beach cannot... More

We stayed at Cas'almare for a week and were enchanted by the location, the house, its delightful, hospitable owner and the other couples we met there. We didn't feel like clients of a hotel, but rather like guests in a private house party. We loved cycling between the house and the port where there were several simple places to lunch... More

My wife and stayed in the Hotel a week ago for two nights. I didn't immediately find advertising for the Hotel (when searching through Google) but eventually I saw an article in the Daily Telegraph and decided to take the plunge. I have to say that we have done a fair amount of travelling around the world and have stayed... More

Truly a hidden gem at a paradise-like location! Beautifully designed, well-maintained and with a special, serene and relaxing Zen-feeling all around. Graziella is the most charming, knowledgeable hostess one could possibly imagine and we decided to stay longer than originally planned and could luckily extend our booking. Definitely do the aperitivo at Cas'almare- it is wonderfully prepared, lovely food, together... More

I read about this bed and breakfast in Travel & Leisure magazine. It looked so calm and peaceful in the pictures that I booked our room that day. The best way to get there is to fly into Palermo, IT rent a car and drive to Trapani and take the ferry to the Favignana island. The manager greeted us at... More
