We stayed in the River Lodge in August and had a wonderful time on safari. We went out twice a day with our guide, December, who was excellent. Great eyes for spotting animals, very patient and helpful explanations also. The evening safari is in the Mjejane Reserve and the morning in the Kruger - both have a very large variety... More

I had gone with my partner. The room (self catering) was spectacular, staff were so friendly, the pool area has a great view and is so relaxing. We did a morning game drive which was amazing and out tour guide was great! Although I would've liked if there were more activities to partake in during our stay there, one day... More

Great way to stay in a game reserve. The rooms were allright. The view from the balcony was great on the crocodile river with all its wild life. We enjoyed the drives into the Game Reserve with the rangers. The monkeys on the terrace are fun to watch. The food, the service in the restaurant and on the terrace might... More

After a long wait of two years my dream was fulfilled. The timeshare 10 sleeper unit was ideal for four couples. A little disappointing that the design allowed for only two of the four en-suite rooms to have a river view. Otherwise the unit was fantastic, large fully equipped kitchen, dining area with a ten seater table, and a comfortable... More

The design of the bush lodges is impeccable, four star if not five star. Very good service. The restaurant is a great place for a two hour lunch, where you can get to know a warthog and his family. Plus a very professional game drive, that will teach anyone a lot.

We were there as part of the OAT trip. The rooms were nice with mosquito coverings on the beds. Viewing the animals coming to drink during the safari breaks was beautiful. It was fun to see the warthog family rooting around by the pool. Nompali and Jaboulani were amazing guides. Happy, good-natured and so knowledgeable.

We had a really awesome stay at one of the shared block units. The units are stylish and spacious. The view of the crocodile river is amazing, some days we saw the 4 of the big 5 from our patio. There are still room for improvement though. The mountain bike paths are not maintained and full of thorns. The amount... More

A super relaxing, quiet, comfortable setting. Pleanty of wildlife to see on the game drives (we managed to see 4 of the big 5 within an hour!) The Spa session was unique in the sense that they come out to your lodging, right on the wooden deck with nature surrounding you...

This was the first lodge of our multi-stop tour, as part of an OAT trip. The location is fabulous, on the banks of the Crocodile River with Elephants, Hippos, Cape Buffalo, Bushbok, Warthogs, and even a cute little cobra. Very safe, but all these creatures literally viewed from our backyard. Hospitality was excellent, food was great, rooms comfortable, and excellent... More

I have stayed at leo lapa and buffalo brook lodges and these well equipped lodges both have five huge bedrooms en suite with large bathrooms and both and indoor and outdoor shower. The view overlooking the river from both lodges is spectacular and the pools wonderful. Highly recommend these lodges
