We were there as part of the OAT trip. The rooms were nice with mosquito coverings on the beds. Viewing the animals coming to drink during the safari breaks was beautiful. It was fun to see the warthog family rooting around by the pool. Nompali and Jaboulani were amazing guides. Happy, good-natured and so knowledgeable.

We had a really awesome stay at one of the shared block units. The units are stylish and spacious. The view of the crocodile river is amazing, some days we saw the 4 of the big 5 from our patio. There are still room for improvement though. The mountain bike paths are not maintained and full of thorns. The amount... More

A super relaxing, quiet, comfortable setting. Pleanty of wildlife to see on the game drives (we managed to see 4 of the big 5 within an hour!) The Spa session was unique in the sense that they come out to your lodging, right on the wooden deck with nature surrounding you...

This was the first lodge of our multi-stop tour, as part of an OAT trip. The location is fabulous, on the banks of the Crocodile River with Elephants, Hippos, Cape Buffalo, Bushbok, Warthogs, and even a cute little cobra. Very safe, but all these creatures literally viewed from our backyard. Hospitality was excellent, food was great, rooms comfortable, and excellent... More

I have stayed at leo lapa and buffalo brook lodges and these well equipped lodges both have five huge bedrooms en suite with large bathrooms and both and indoor and outdoor shower. The view overlooking the river from both lodges is spectacular and the pools wonderful. Highly recommend these lodges

Perfect in every way Stayed at the share block with beautifully furnished units with more than ample space The views from our private deck overlooking the Kruger National Parks beautiful sights were spectacular. We heard lions roar at night, saw ample game and relaxed in our private pool. The perfect bushveld experience

Friendly staff, excellent rangers. Lodge staff were very accommodating and look after us. We were really lucky to spot the big five. Good food, fabulous location. Only issue, r270 is charged every time you enter Kruger national park. We ended up spending quite bit, it ŵas VIRGIN holidays who conned us. I don't recommend any one game reserve for more... More

We booked a few days away and stayed at Mjejane while visiting the Kruger Park. This must be the most relaxing environment on the edge of the Crocodile River. You get the chance to see three of the big five, amongst many others, come down to the water edge in the late afternoon. We stayed in a self catering unit... More

We had a two night stay a Mjejane River Lodge and the experience was overall fantastic. Views from the pool is breathtaking and sitting there under a tree while looking out for animals in between game drives is the most relaxing experience. Some of the staff that work there are just too fabulous not to mention, Willem - the hardest... More

We have stayed in the lodge before, and whilst the welcome was very good, we found the staff generally lacking in training. Our room, #8 was in a nice position, with lovely view of the river, needs a bit of uplifting, and unfortunately had no hot water! We ordered a bottle of champagne at sunset and it took 45 minutes...
