If you are seeking contemplative space, tranquil translated from English to Spanish means, " tranquilo, quieto, pacífico, or simply the Hotel Palmeras. The owners and staff have created a space that facilitates thoughtfulness, consideration, and quiet conversation. Wrought iron gates lead you to a lush landscaped courtyard, with comfortable seating around the pool. There is a shared grill in this... More

We rented one of the rooms facing the front entrance, that is in the old section of the hotel. The room was as pictured, with a comfortable king size bed, a kitchenette, TV. The Internet worked very well, the pool area was nice, and the front desk personnel very helpful. BUT...the bathroom was terrible and so small. It had bad... More

Whether I am travelling alone or with a friend, the Hotel Palmeras is always my first and only choice. From the moment I check-in, Juan and his staff make sure that my stay is relaxing and safe. The luscious garden and sparkling pool create a tantalizing ambiance that embraces me as soon as I arrive. Close to everything--the beach, restaurants,... More

Just a block from the Bay of Banderas and miles of white sand beach. The hotel is tidy, well-maintained and comfortable. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. A great value. We've been to Bucerias nearly a dozen times, and stayed in a variety of venues: Hotel Palmeras is simply the best for the money. Kudos to Juan, Sylvia, Consuela,... More

Stayed for 14 days at this hotel. It is a quite hotel in a small fishing village. The rooms are clean and have a small kitchen. The balcony is over looking the pool and great to relax with a Mexican beer or a local Tequila. The owners and stuff are very helpful and speak English. The location is great. On... More

Hotel Palmeras is a clean and pretty hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is quite expensive at Christmas time for what you get. It is dated and lacks quality amenities. Our room was dark and did not have a deck or private outdoor sitting area. The location is good, we walked or took the bus everywhere. I... More

We took the bus here from the airport. The station is right across the street. We had planned to rent a car, but cancelled when they that it was going told us a rental agency that it was going to be considerably more expensive that originally quoted. Turns out the buses were great, so a car was superfluous! The hotel... More

We have stayed at HP for perhaps the last 6-7 years and were very glad to have discovered an alternative to the densely touristed (with all its 'industry' ) Puerto V. The Hotel has always been well run and welcoming but even more so with Juan and Ben at the helm along with a great staff. H Palmeras couldn't be... More

We spent a week at the Hotel Palmeras and what a treat it was. The hotel is located near most of the action and great restaurants. The staff was wonderful. Juan, the hotel manager, did everything he could to make our stay pleasurable. Juan truly is a great guy. One thing that amazed me was the cleanliness of the hotel.... More

This hotel is blissfully quiet and well located. Rooms could be a bit cleaner. You do need a bit of a sense of humor to stay here. The window in the penthouse room does not fit properly into the frame so when it is windy, it sounds like a hurricane. Fernando was extremely helpful and stuffed some paper into it... More

Hi Josh, Thank you for your comments, I was informed of the noise caused by the breeze and to be honest it is the first time it was reported. It could be that during this time of the year wind conditions are rather unique. Yes I understand the rooms need some maintenance given the fact that we were just finishing... More
