I stayed here two nights out of a 12 day vacation and this was the worst place. It has just a basic dirt parking lot for RV's (sites RV5A-RV9). My site did not have a table. The bathroom had one stall, one urinal (overflowing), for 19 RV sites and 11 camping sites? It really seemed inadequate. There was no warm... more
I didn’t care that the playground was not impressive or that the water wasn’t swimmable – I just wanted a clean place to sleep, in a peaceful setting, with the convenience of a kitchen and the opportunity to rent a canoe and a paddle boat for an hour in the morning. I knew we were in trouble when I opened... more
This "RESORT" is a big joke. If you go to their website they have a list of the activities, my favorite was the water slide, hahahaha their water slide is just a playground slide with a hose going down it! the water there was gross! I was looking forward to going swimming in the lake, but when I seen the... more
Every year our entire family gets together to go camping. We have been to many places throughout Washington and Oregon State and never encountered anything like Silver Lake Resort. Prior to booking our stay, we had looked at their web page and called them to find out more about their resort and what they had to offer. So, needless to... more
We booked a "suite" at the Silver Lake "Resort" for a week. It was totally misrepresented. It was not what the pictures on the internet showed. We were told we were getting a suite that slept 4-6. There was only 1 of the queen sized beds in the promo and the other was a full. It only slept 4 very... more
The camp sites are a joke...our camp site was so small that our tent wouldn't even fit on it...we end up sharing a site with other people who came with us...i had a 4yr and 7 month old there and must i say it was miserable especially at night cause the camp sites are next to a buisy freeway. There... more
Was not very happy with the Silver Lake experience. Found that the website and reviews were not entirely accurate . We went on a big family vacation which covered all ages and we were disappointed especially at the activities for the younger children . Swimming is advertised in the website ,but there was not way would let the kids swim... more
The Silverlake resort was a joke. Don't waste your time, or money. Their web page is deceptive, and their customer service was very poor. They do not have a water slide like they advertise, and even some of the employees advised not to swim in the lake. One employee said "oh yes people swim in the lake all the time."... more
We stayed in the motel for 2 nights and loved it. The rooms are basic and the whole place is a little rough around the edges but you stay at this place for the view and water access. The balcony of every room in the motel extends over the lake where you can literally fish from your balcony. My daughter... more
