4* hotel, actually 3* star. Loacation is excellent, just beside the slopes and lifts. LaThuile village have 700 inhabitants permanently, but 12 000 beds. Talked in sauna with english guy. This hotel is just opposite the gondola on a perfect location. La Thuile skiing area is very nice. However, it is a bit tired and would benefit from some refurbishment... specially the swimming pool and sauna areas...and bathrooms. The rooms are large and very comfortable, but the bathrooms have a constant sewage smell... The food is very good and varied.... More

The hotel if clean and tidy, the lifts a little temperamental when busy, food at tea and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. If you plan to use the pool remember your swimming caps and towels and note it is quite cool definitely not a pool for relaxing in after a hard days skiing or I suppose walking. The gents changing...
