The room was adequate for a 1/2 night stay but I would hesitate to recommend longer. The dividing walls were very thin and sound travelled easily. Nice walk along the river. Shops and garage just across the road. We catered for ourselves so did not use the onsite restaurant or bar. Reasonably priced

Our two day stay at Parklands Motor Lodge was disappointing. Part of it was our fault as the advertisement said Taupo. We thought the Lodge was in Taupo the town, but it was a distance away. The room was acceptable, but many trucks stop here and we were right next door to a party, making early slumber impossible. This was... More

With all due respect you should at least allow us to try & address your concerns while you were staying here? We had no idea you wanted to stay in Taupo & had we known we would have advised you to go there ? And now to find your comments on Trip Advisor we are very disappointed as we try... More

Spacious grounds and very welcoming, especially the bar and restaurant which was great value. They organised up trip to Tongariro which was a bonus, and the whole stay went very well. The park grounds were quiet and even the proximity to the main road didn't disturb us

We found Asure Parklands so easy to find on a recent ride home to the Far North. It was just off the main highway, our room was spacious and comfortable and we had a great meal at their restaurant. Just ideal for two tired travellers. P.L.

Not bad at all - fast, check in, easy parking right outside the room, walk-able into Turangi, although not much there. Only one restaurant was open in the whole town, an Italian, but that was actually very good. Hotel itself is like a motel with rooms around a central field area. Rooms were fine and had everything we needed.

We picked this motor lodge as a convenient place to stay and visit the Tongariro National Park. We stayed for 3 nights. We found the sevice good and the room had everything we needed. There was a microwave, toaster, kettle and 2 cooker rings along with all the utensils needed to cook a basic meal. It was all clean. We... More

Hello Thanks for taking the time to review our property. We do our very best to keep our customer service at a high level. I apologise if you thought I was a little short with you at checkin at 10pm. We did have some common ground at 10pm - we both had had a long day. More
