Warmly welcomed by the hosts and an even warmer room waiting on a cold, snowy night. This was the 3rd motel that we stayed in on our trip and by far the best in terms of amenities and comfort. Thank you.

We found this motel to be a good place to stay. As the units were separated you get the feeling that you are staying at a "County Home Stay". This excellent. The units are very well laid out and the kitchenette has excellent bench space. The en suite is adequate, given the age of the units. The hosts are excellent... More

We stayed for a night after skiing at whakapapa which was only 40mins away. Lovely and clean, quite comfortable. I couldn't help feeling like we were imposing on the hosts...lots of rules posted everywhere. No water around the spa, etc . And at ten minutes before check out time ( the morning of daylight savings beginning when 10am felt like... More

Typical Motel for NZ clean, does the job, traffic noise was bit of a pain due to being close the main hiway. Very large wide open grounds. Room and bed were comfortable with the amenaties which catered for the short term stay

This is a charming old fashioned motel with an excellent level of service and cleanliness. Good value for money if you are travelling on a budget. Wayne's garden was in full spring bloom and couldn't have looked prettier with all the daffodils and tulips. Helen was extremely helpful with tips for activities in the area and recommendations for dining.

Was a lovely place to stay, very nice owners who looked after me and my 2 year old daughter. Close to supermarket and town centre is a short walk away. Beautiful walk ways and playground just down the road in easy walking distance of the motel.

This is a great place to stay. It's not posh, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything you could want. It's conveniently located near the national park, and right down the street is the Tongariro River Trail. One can also walk to a supermarket to get food to cook in the small kitchen. There is also free laundry and... More

In a region full of boutique fishing lodges and natural hot-spring spa hotels, this motel is bland in comparison. The big turn-off for me however was the tiniest bathroom I've seen outside of Asia - there wasn't really a bathroom, merely one small cubicle for the sink, another for the shower and a third for the toilet. Pluses were the... More

Freindly and helpful, Having stayed at the motel previously, was very happy with the service and conditions. The location suited us well. Staff accomodated us well as we arrived late and left early in the morning.

Was very handy to the mountain, enjoyed staying there. My children liked the loft beds and their own little area. We will come back when we visit the mountain. The room was clean and the hosts are very friendly and helpful.
