Although we only stayed over for one night, it was one of the most memorable experiences that I had in New Zealand. Margaret and Graeme were amazing hosts and my husband and I had lovely conversations with them. They were very helpful in recommending what to do around the area, and even directed us to a restaurant in Te Kuiti... More

Margaret and Graham were fantastic friendly hosts and the views from their home were fantastic. The caves nearby are well worth a visit. On the down side, the B & B is close to farmland so it had a few flies in the house. I don't mean to be unkind but the food and drinks were the economy brands but... More

We only had one night at Simply the Best, but were made to feel so welcome we really would have liked to have stayed longer. The location is beautiful, close enough to the caves, but very quiet and peaceful. Margaret and Graham are wonderful hosts - as other reviewers have said, it was almost like visiting family (the good kind)!... More

We stayed 2 nights at Margaret's and Graham's country B&B outside Te Kuiti, a short drive from the Waitomo caves. They couldn't have been any more welcoming or helpful, they were wonderful! Rooms have their own ensuite and balcony view. Comfortable beds, very clean and beautiful view. There is the main lounge room of the house and then a guest... More

It is indeed a pleasure to recommend this B&B. We stayed only one night but upon leaving it felt like we had stayed with family. (The good kind) The rhubarb sauce Margaret served in the morning was to die for! (Sorry Margaret, I ate it all!) I'm still dreaming about it. Graham was kind enough to take me around the... More

We were very impressed with our stay here, very welcoming and knowledgeable hosts, great conversation and a beautiful location. We stayed in a private en-suite bedroom with a slider to the deck overlooking the valley below. A really great value just 15 min away from Waitomo Caves!

We stayed here during our last night of our NZ honeymoon trip and it was a perfect place to stay! We didn’t have reservations but were immediately welcomed when we showed up. The property is absolutely beautiful with stunning views from the house. Both owners were the nicest people we encountered. They gave us great recommendations about where to eat... More

We stayed one night as we continued our trip to Rotorua and then to Napier. We received the room overlooking the whole broad valley and enjoyed the stunning view (which a glass wind/weather shield) on the big porch. One of the two cats was already expecting us :-). The cats are well-behaved as they did not enter the guests room.... More

Road weary from campervanning in the cold spring, we decided to try a Bed and Breakfast to recharge ourselves. We found a gem! This place is really great for couples or families. Margaret and Graeme are excellent hosts and their home feels like a place where you are more than welcome. The gardens themselves are beautiful with all sorts of... More

Room and bathrooms are clean and warm with heater. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Beautiful views and gardens, everything was just so enjoyable. Breakfast was yummy with Margaret's fresh homemade jams. Highly recommended for Waitomo Caves visitors!
