Food for the soul as well as the body. Thats how we will remember our stay at the Bushland Park Lodge. Petra & Reinhard were truly warm and attentive hosts, yet not invasive. Our suite was of a standard up until then, I'd only seen on TV's high end travel shows. The whole ambeince of the place leaves you in... More

We spent two very enjoyable nights at Bushland Park Lodge - a special hideaway in the beautiful Coromandel area. Reinhard and Petra are excellent friendly hosts and provide delicious food and wines. Fantastic nearby beaches and forests together with amazing night skies plus a gloworm grotto in the extensive garden all help to make this a memorable location.

The only negative side of our stay at Bushland Park Lodge and Nikel Strausse was that we could only stay for 2 days. This is a truly beautiful spot in the world and only a couple (maybe 3) hours from Auckland. It is a great location at which to take some beautiful little hikes and from which to drive to... More

We were a little leary driving down the road to find Bushland Park Lodge, It sure was off the beaten path. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our destination. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Petra and her husband Reinhard. Went on a beautiful hike, had a absolutely wonderful dinner perpared by Reinhard and after dinner took... More

What a wonderful place! So calm and peaceful! An ideal starting point for hiking trips in the nearby bush with the lovely waterfall. Also to the lonely and natural beaches it is not far. And we know – in the evening there is an excellent dinner waiting – prepared by the boss Reinhard specially for us. One evening we have... More

From the warm welcome at our arrival to the time to say farewell, our stay was a relaxed sojourn in comfortable surroundings. We stayed in the Presidential Suite and instantly felt at home. Reinhard and Petra extend a warm welcome and offer excellent hopitality throughout your stay with nothing being too much trouble. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and of a high standard, with a balcony on which tea was served upon... More

It´s a real escape from hectic and sitting in the lovely garden is just fantastic. There are great bushwalks around and it´s a perfect spot to drive arround the Coromandel. When you... More

We booked this, knowing that the location was not great for us, but the reviews and the marketing made it sound impossible to miss. However, out of all the places we stayed on our tour, this is the only one we felt was overpriced - and we were in the cheapest rooms. As it was in a remote location we... More

We are operating our Boutique accommodation with fine dining since 15 years in a remote nature spot where we offer our dinners with fresh home-grown organic produce and with the best supplied “Export Quality Meats”. All meals are individually cooked to our guest wishes and dietary needs. Such 3 course candlelight dinners in an exclusive and tranquilly atmosphere is not... More
