My husband stayed here when he had to go to Whangamata in February for family matters. ON his return, he couldn't praise it highly enough. I made the reservation for him, and had to change it because his plans changed. The lady that took both calls was accommodating and helpful. Many thanks, we've decided this is THE place to stay... Well appointed motel unit, super peaceful very near to beach and town and possibly the best shower in New Zealand. La Dolce Vita "bellisimo". Hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful. A brilliant place to chill out after touring before heading for the city. Would recommend if you want peace and quiet and a most wonderful sandy beach.

Got a special off Grab One. Nice little motel, comfortable bed, quiet could do with a better TV and when the person in the next unit had a shower it was very noisy. However it was value for money. My only criticism was that we weren't serviced...maybe I didn't read the fine print.

Really great accommodation in a good location in Whangamata. Lovely quiet motel, close to both the beach and the town. Nicely furnished, sunny units with good off street parking and good facilities. We will be returning to La Dolce Vita.

La Dolce Vita is a Mediterranean style Motel 300 mts from Whangamata's surf beach. We had Unit 1 which was spacious, very clean & serviced each day if required. Within walking distance to cafes & shops it is an ideal holiday location. Our hosts Jacqui & Mark were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We look forward to returning... More

We stayed in the downstair suite and it was truely a home away from home. There was everything we needed to cook our own meals and feel relaxed. The layout was great and the staff were very friendly (including the cat). Although the weather wasnt that fab we were offered the motels video store card to rent movies. All in... More
