My husband and I spent 10 nights at the Meridian Club in early June. We were looking for a resort similar to that of Guana Island in the British Virgin Islands, which we visited last summer and truly enjoyed ---the Meridian Club certainly gives you that same feel. The Meridian Club is a small 13 room all-inclusive resort on a... More

My wife and I loved our time at the Meridian Club. I ran across this small island during a fishing trip from Provo a few years back and have always wanted know more about it. Basically it is a private island owned by the HOA consisting of 38 homeowners. Fortunately they have 13 cottages (and a few private homes) for... More

We had an amazing week at the Meridian Club. The beaches are perfect, soft white sand and the water is crystal clear, amazing for swimming. The beach is huge and usually empty, perfect for long walks and sun bathing. Each room has its own set of beach chairs/umbrella, so you are never without a seat. The rooms are decent, they... More

This is a secret find - a piece of unspoiled by glitz paradise tucked off of the mainstream of Provo. It truly felt like you were at the family beach house. From the cozy rooms to the outdoor shower - it all evoked a feeling of belonging. Wally and Bev go out of their way to make sure hospitality in... More

My husband found the Meridien Club by searching for small getaways in the Caribbean. It was our 35th Wedding anniversary so we took a chance. I think I've been spoiled for any other place in the Caribbean. The staff lead by Bev and Wally are outstanding. They work very hard to make you stay as comfortable as possible. We became... More

My husband and I recently returned from our first time at the Meridian Club. Almost everyone else seemed to be a regular, mainly staying at private homes that are also part of the Club. As many others had said, it was a perfect respite after a hectic and very cold and dreary winter in New York. This place indeed feels... More

What happens when NONE of your luggage (and that includes your carry on bags!) makes it to your destination airport, it's mid afternoon and the last flight for the day, AND your resort is on a different island and you go by boat to get there? And the airline has no idea where your luggage is or when it might... More

This is my third review and I am still a strong advocate. Upon check out, my wife and I are booked again for next year. What more can I say? We continue to be magnetized by the quality of food, service, Carrib ambiance along with an empty pristine beach, elusive green flashes, as well as a staff that is genuinely... More

After the drudgery of months of cold and snow, we as a small group of good friends headed for Pine Cay. The minute we hit the dock for the 20 minute boat ride to the island, it was total enjoyment and relaxation. Gorgeous private island, a couple dozen widely spaced private residences, and just 9 (I think) guest rooms adjacent... More

What was the best part of a week here? The staff who spoiled us, the food, the empty beach, the pool, the room, the bone fishing? All of the above. This is exactly what we needed and will be back. Hint: Bambarra rum and tonics.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Meridian Club is a private island hideaway resort in the Caribbean with two miles of deserted, pristine white-sand beach, just 90 minutes by air from Miami. The property is environmentally sensitive and ideal for those seeking an unspoiled secluded retreat. Founded in 1973, the Meridian Club offers a Caribbean experience the way it was before the appearance of big hotels and condominiums, jet skis and beach umbrella communities. No crowds, no cars, no noise - a step back in time to a simpler, less hectic life.12 rooms and the Sand Dollar Cottage are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, fronting on the beach. Some of the privately owned homes that share the island are also available for rent.Soothing trade winds ensure comfortable temperatures and low humidity year round while the surrounding waters (averaging a pleasant 75° - 80° Fahrenheit) teem with marine life. Underwater visibility often exceeds 100 feet and there are miles of coral gardens within a five minute boat ride. Ashore, Pine Cay remains a pristine natural haven, a private secluded island with vast open space and seven freshwater ponds, a perfect habitat for the abundant local fauna and flora.Andrew Harper's - Recipient of Reader’s Choice Special Award as one of the “Top 20 Beach Resorts” in the world - the only resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands to be so honored. ... more   less
