Just spent very comfortable evening at this hotel. was attending a ceilidh, had a good meal and stayed the night". the room was very comfortable and warm on a very cold night and although the shower wasn't modern it was lovely and hot. the breakfast was tasty well cooked and nicely presented. the staff were not numerous but well organised... As most of the other reviewers have stated...the location and view around this place are stunning. Absolutely amazing and well worth a drive up the A82 to see them. I stayed for one night at the Kingy and, frankly, when I walked in I was concerned. Talked to the staff member in one of the bars and noticed ripped fabric... More

The Kings House Hotel is set in the most fantastic location. Sitting just before you enter Glencoe, the surroundings are typically Scottish Highlands, beautiful mountains surround you. I`ll be honest the rooms aren`t the cleanest in the world but that shouldn`t put you off staying the night here. And if you don`t mind a bath iit`s better than a shower as... More

This is a remote hotel with spectacular views, friendly staff, and a few deer roaming the grounds. We stayed here while we were photographing the landscape and the place was wonderful! Our room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet and clean. The food was very good! Our concierge was a very nice Scottish lady who... More

Good old 70s decor and none of that saccharine-sweet over-friendly service you get in the states. If you're walking the route there's nothing for miles either side so you'll be staying here. You might moan about the price, but after a long day hike this is more comfortable than kipping on the moors!

Just back from a short stay at The Kingshouse Hotel, Glencoe. If you're up there for walking, climbing skiing or just enjoying the area it's the perfect place to stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm. We had dinner both nights and ate in the bar area. Good quality, hearty pub food, just what you need after a day... More

I have been travelling through Glencoe on the way further north for more years than I care to remember and have always wanted to stay here and this October I finally did and can say I was anything but disappointed. To start with the location is what always appealed to me,the remoteness of the place and the complete quiet and stillness... This is a lovely hotel with lovely staff, however the new owners put the prices up and have not updated the hotel since. Breakfast is included in the £100 night fee, whereas previously prices could be kept down by choosing not to have the hotel breakfast. The bedrooms are dilapidated to say the least and if it wasn't for the... More

welcome sight at the end of 15 mile walk, fabulous views, great atmosphere and tasty food in the Climbers Bar. Breakfast & the packed lunch were brilliant. As we set off the next day we were tempted to go back and just chill out ,enjoy the view, read ,soak in the bath and spend the evening in the climbers bar again... Location is amazing. This was a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. Room (double ensuite) was very good. Plenty of places to sit and relax with a drink after hard days walk. Food in the bar was excellent as was the breakfast service. Would recommend a stay here.
