This is an old small hotel with facilities to match. The room and bed were small but comfortable. The toiletries were nice. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. The main plus for this hotel is the restaurant. Really friendly and helpful staff. The food is incredible. The tomato soup I had on the first night was the best soup I... More

Good location directly a A82 at the edge of Glencoe Village. We got a very small room (definitely below our expectation and the description on their web site) with an even smaller bath room and a shower which left only the choice between "very little water" and "almost no water". Small double bed, we've had hotel beds twice as wide... More

We stayed here for one night whilst touring the highlands. I booked dinner bed and breakfast which carried a £20 supplement for dinner. We arrived early at around 12pm and were told our room was not ready and probably wouldn't be ready until around 3pm so we went into the bar which is attached to the hotel and had a... More

The rooms are okay, reasonably comfortable and equipped and the Scottish breakfasts are fine but there's nothing much personalised about the welcome or service here. You can't help feeling you're in an establishment which is one of many others in a hotel chain - as is the case. I adore Glencoe, but unless it was the peak tourist season and... More

Great place to stay in a beautiful location. As a family of three plus a dog we had a family/triple room, it was a lovely room and the only bad thing i could say was that it was snug but we were only staying one night so this did not worry us at all. Staff were very helpful and welcoming,... More

Many reviews comment on the need for refurbishment - and they are correct. All rooms are up a narrow, turning stair with no lift nor help with luggage - hardly surprising then that the walls and woodwork have many scuff marks that certainly could do with regular repainting, as could the narrow corridors. Also our room had dated basic furniture... More

At 130 pounds per night one would expect a better quality of stay. We were allocated a road side room which vibrated when large vehicles passed along the road. The dinner served in the restaurant was of reasonable quality but not great. I am sure better value is available in the locality

Hotel is in dire need of updating. Our room had a broken shower head which staff knew about as it was taped up but still unusable in the shower fitting. Despite very warm weather our window would not open more than two inches and the room was stifling. On the second morning there was no hot water as the boiler... More
