On arivel we were met opening the front door with a strong musty smell, after booking in we set of to find our room which was at the front of the building the room was tired and needed up grading in the maintainnce dept, beware of traffic noise and shuddering as the large lorrys go by all night. The dinner... More

6 cars with 12 people booked this Inn for a 2 night break last weekend earlier this year. Our expectations were not high but gosh the restaurant and bar ambience, made our stay most enjoyable. A good base, safe car parking, nice menu for dinner and breakfast, more than made up for an "adequate" bedroom, which frankly for the price... More

As 2 families travelling together we spent 1 night here and enjoyed it immensely. Our room was beautiful and quaint and big enough for the three of us to sleep in, and big enough for the six of us to hang out in after the Germany/Brazil soccer game and have a couple of drinks. The view from our room was... More

Like previous reviews theres nothing majorly bad about this hotel but there was nothing I particularly enjoyed! The location is stunning and we had fantastic views from our window! The rooms are slightly dated and our bathroom was in good need of some tlc. There is no staff in the hotel after 11pm which is unfortunate as a very drunk... More

On arrival we found that the on suit was jammed shut and had to be opened with a chisel by a member of staff. The room was tiny and expensive at £110 per night. We paid extra for a loch side view. Although the room was on the same side as the loch our view was of some trees, some... More

There is nothing really bad about this hotel, but I would argue nothing too great either (except perhaps breakfast which seemed to be a notch above the typical Scottish breakfast as you could order a la carte). Did not eat dinner there. The hotel reminds me of accommodations in or near a US National Park. A bit tired and run... More

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Glencoe Inn,we were very reluctant to leave. As mentioned in previous reviews...yes the bedrooms may be small and a little upgrading may be required but I have no doubt in my mind that Mr Crerar will have a schedule for that. He has a plan which is consistent in all... More

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights while we traveled the area. The hotel was very nice the staff were very help full and friendly. We had evening meals in the hotel and they too were very nice, lots of choice and well presented. The room was slightly wee for my liking but again it had everything you... More

We had the family room which had wonderful views across the loch; however it only had a shower. If you want a bath make sure you ask for room with this facility. Walls are a bit thin so we could hear occasionally the baby next door. Also ask for a room at the back as those at the front you... More

This is an old small hotel with facilities to match. The room and bed were small but comfortable. The toiletries were nice. Reception staff were efficient and friendly. The main plus for this hotel is the restaurant. Really friendly and helpful staff. The food is incredible. The tomato soup I had on the first night was the best soup I... More
