After staying in this hotel 10 years ago I had to go back as had such fond memories. The hotel does need a bit of TLC could be wonderful if money spent on it as it was those 10 years ago...didn't have the same vibe. However our room had a lovely sea view which certainly made us overlook any cosmetic... More

I stayed from 11th till 15th August at this hotel with an Urquhart Tour. On reading the reviews I was worried that the hotel would not be up to standard but had no complaints. We had a fairly big twin room which was very clean with comfortable beds and a good shower. We had a room at the front overlooking... More

When we arrived 4.30 pm and after waiting 15 mins at reception before anyone greeted us we were told that our room was ready. We eventually got in to our room around 5 pm. At first glance the room looked reasonable, however the floor could have been hoovered.. We did not say anything at time as needed to rest after... More

My husband and I stayed here with National Holidays for 2 nights last weekend. We had read the reviews before travelling with trepidation, but always believe you should go with an open mind. So we were really pleased to have a nice room, new carpet, thick curtains, spotless bedding and a nice view of the sea and the Aquarium! We... More

Stayed here for one night as we couldn't get in anywhere else so it really was a last resort. The room was clean but the window didn't lock, the door was hanging off the bedside cabinet, the shower was falling apart and the bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. There was a smell of sewage as we went through from the... More

A sincere thank you to Joseph and his hard working staff, Due to a close family bereavement in the first week in August they gave my wife and I a lovely room with a sea view. Yes the hotel is tired in places but the new owner is injecting cash into the hotel, with the public rooms first. The location is superb... More

As a hotel this one is a negative. Food was plentiful but unimaginative, service was provided by staff poorly trained by a disinterested management. The building is crying out for attention, which is a pity because with investment this hotel could be a winner- such a lovely location. Oh, if you are in any way physically handicapped there are no lifts!

Just spent 5 days here with Travelstyle. Hotel dingy and tired. No lift. Mouldy wallpaper, TV did not work in room and bathroom door did not close properly,. Food edible but service terrible, does not understand dietary requests. Would not stay here again.
