An excellent pub/inn hotel. The staff were very friendly and the room clean, tidy and all that could be expected.
Meals were served in the bar or restaurant - I chose the bar - the menu was excellent and the specials were many and varied. I had a two course meal, starter & main that were both delicious and very quickly served. Well recommended - an excellent chef!
I spent the rest of the evening in the bar chatting with the locals and thoroughly enjoyed myself.
One last good comment - the beer was served to perfection. 5 stars.
Only one gripe and this was not the hotels fault - smoking in the bar - this will all change come July 1st so nothing to stop anyone paying this hotel/pub/inn a visit.
Well worth it!
