I have stayed at this hotel over the past 15-20 years. Was surprised to see it is a Best Western now! Our experience of this chain is that they don't live up to 4 star standards. But knowing Holland and their standards we were fairly confident it would be good.
Firstly we expected a double en-suite to have a double bed as previous years. Twins were velcroed together, single mattresses with single duvets. We asked for a double bedded room and were told they were all the same. Asked if they had at least a double duvet and was told they would check with houskeeping. Finally after two days we asked the cleaners ourselves and were told they had no spare ones BUT discovered they did have double bedded rooms as we were shown one whilst interpreting double duvet!
Menu was quite limited, luckily we eat at either the bar/restaurant opposite or another hotel the opposite side of the motorway which was excellent.
We had to ask for butter at breakfast, orange...
