After some years I have been back to this hotel which really impressed me again. Apart from the friendly staff and a simple but beautiful room I particularly liked the excellent dinner and close proximity to both the cross country and downhill skiing.

we stayed here in June. arrived after a hard days walking. Bags had arrived earlier. They were heavy. They were left in reception. No offer of help to carry them to room. No lift. Girl on reception knew very little and suggested we went to related hotel for travel information. Room basic. Bathroom tiny with wash basins in sleeping area... More

Didn't stay at the hotel but stopped off for lunch at their restaurant after a day of hiking. Cozy atmosphere and good food. We'd been hankering for raclette and found just what we needed after a long day outdoors. If you are staying in the Engandine Zuoz is worth a visit It's a very photogenic small town in a very... Found this hotel by chance when looking for a place to stay on a long drive. Great value, and I can imagine this place being a great option for somebody looking to spend a ski holiday in the area`s famed resorts on a more conservative budget. There is plentiful parking just across the street, rooms are cozy and appropriately "mountainy",... More

I stayed at the quaint, comfortable, well-situated Crusch Alva Hotel in Zuoz in February '12. The inn has a great location right in the middle of the small town, 2 minutes on foot from the train station, from where you can reach all the amazing ski resorts of the Upper Engadine in minutes by train, e.g. St. Moritz/Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalp,... We first went to the excellent hotel restaurant and liked it so much that we decided to move to this hotel located in a wonderful historic building. Our room had a view of the pretty historic village square and the mountains. It was furnished with typical wooden mountain furniture and had elegant brand new bathrooms. We ll be back!
