El-Bahira was a perfect combination for relaxing, doing sports and visiting the western coast of Sicily. The camping is in the middle of the nature, with hills, cliffs and see all around and a BIG swimming pool in the middle. The mobile-homes are clean. The best seasons are probably June and September as there is no crowd and it is... More

We'd never done a Eurocamp holiday before but our stay at El Bahira has converted us & we've already booked another one (in France this time) for 2014. Firstly our mobile home was very nice, pretty well-equipped, & with a good-sized deck for sitting out. Ours was spotless on arrival. The Eurocamp rep Derek was very pleasant. The pool was... More

Firstly, let me state that I was not on holiday. I was in the campsite most unwillingly. Call it “family obligation”. I would never willingly go anywhere where the expected and achieved temperatures were 50C. The Sicilians apparently keep the Feast of the Assumption (15 August) by madly partying for as long as they can. I realise it sounds fun,... More

We stayed at El Bahira with our 3 children aged 7,6 and 20 months. We really enjoyed it, convenient for lovely Erice and San Vito lo Capo is gorgeous. We will definitely book with Eurocamp again, but probably look for somewhere with more childrens activities. The staff were lovely and so were the other (mainly Italian) guests. Nice restaurant and... More

This campsite is set in the most beautiful location overlooking the sea, with direct access to the coast. Contrary to some reviews, the campsite beach is properly set out with sun-loungers and staffed by a lifeguard. It has a platoon, which takes you straight into clear deep waters, which are perfect for snorkelling. The pool is first class and kept... More

During our Sicily tour we spent four days on this camp site and had a lovely time with our two daughters (1 and 3 years old). We stayed in a mobile home. It was large enough and functional, but poorly equipped if it comes to kitchenware and utensils. From the mobile home we had a beautiful view on the sea... More

In spite of some of the rather nasty reviews here we actually found it to be very good. A friendly welcoming staff and all the facilites you would need for an active holiday, we were climbing. We had an appartment, which was completely acceptable and an quite inexpensive option compared to some in San Vito. The appartment was amazingly cool... More

First impressions of this site are that it is about 25 years behind the times, the buildings and facilities are old, shabby and outdated, although the site is (on the whole) clean and tidy. The "Beach" is a non starter for anyone who wants to do anything other than lie in the sun, mainly small pebbles with no desirable access... More

Perfect if you are there to climb! The crag is on your door step. However if you want to laze around on the beach, the beach is rocky, but it seems they make an effort in the summer to make the beach better. The campsite itself is lovely. Pool and bar is only open peak times. Mobile homes are basic... More

We (My Husband, 2 toddlers and my Mum and Dad) stayed in a Eurocamp mobile home at El Bahira mid Sept 2012, the last 11nts of the season and had a really enjoyable stay. The Eurocamp and Keycamp pitches are all situated at the bottom of the park near to the beach but also just down the steps from the... More
