Looking back from actually booking our holiday we with Eurocamp we knew it was a bit of a gamble going to El Bahira, we have a great experience as "campers" and with Eurocamp as we have been to Italy camping around 8 years previously but all to the more up market campsites like Marina Di Venezia, Norcenni etc and never... Amazing site so very differnet from the many others we have stayed on, a hidden gem, very beautiful, tranquil. only negative is pool closure in afternoon! but you can factor into your day! San Vito lo Capo great also nearby. best bar terrace views ive had on a campsite and amazing sunsets,Very arty and real care taken to finer details... More

Great location, close to beach and main road. Care should be taken if arriving at night time as the approach road as severe drops at the edges. The site is well organised and has a strict shut down in the afternoon for siesta. Restaurant and bar in the evenings good for kids

Great camping, especially for climbers. The climbing wall is right next to the camping so you don't have to go far. Access to the sea is not easy (there's no beach nearby and there are large rocks), but there's a pool with free entrance, although a swimming cap is required (unless you have very short hair like me :-) ).... Stayed here at the end of October. Yes, full of climbers but that made the atmosphere very relaxed - I walked with a friend - fabulous walking around - Zingaro, Monte Monaco and Monte Cofano. Mobile homes clean and functional. Some with very good sea views and others not so good so choose carefully. Good value, good facilities, friendly bar... More

Great climbers camp ground, uber climber friendly at 10 euro a day per person it is good value. Lots of Swiss, German, Spanish and Italian climbers. The crag behind the campground is lite up at night too!

We spent two weeks here with eurocamp in the peak of the summer. Compared to other eurocamp sights this is smaller but nice. Siesta sees the pool and other areas closed between 1300 x 1600 so this needs to be planned into your day. The location is remote and very hilly so a car is necessary. We found the roads... More

Enjoyed our 2 week stay with Eurocamp in El Bahira in July 14 with our 10 year old and 7 year old kids. It is the campsite with the most scenic views we have been to, it is right on the beach and sunsets at The Salinella beach bar are speculative. Eurocamp reps Peter and Judy were very helpful throughout.... More

We stayed here for 12 days from 3rd June with Eurocamp.. The site is set in a beautiful bay with hills, cliffs, sea and a large pool. The owners have tried really hard to make the site unique in it's layout from palm trees, cactus a shrubs on the beach area to a garden on the entrance driveway from where you... More

My wife and I have just returned from our 5th stay at this campsite. It is located at the end of a quiet road between a 40m high limestone escarpment and a rocky beach. My sport is climbing and the local cliffs are world class. There are mountain bikes at the site to hire. Local walking is good too (Zingaro... More
