From the moment we walked in the door we knew we chose the right location. the gentlemen in breakfast room was so pleasant and kept the food fresh and replenished. we were in room 215 withe the balcony, i highly recommend... I spent one week at this hotel and loved every minute of it. In terms of location, it does not get better than this as the beach and restaurants/gelaterias were only steps away. You get assigned a beach umbrella according to your room number. It is a private beach. I also recommend eating at a restaurant called La Taverna di... More

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in this charming, family-run seaside hotel for 3 days in June 2014. The hotel is very well kept and decorated, and in a perfect location in Sperlonga. The staff were excellent and very helpful with any request that we had. Our sea view room was lovely if a bit on the small side (although... More

The aurora was every bit as good as the reviews noted, great location, great service from an exceptional team, great advice on local restaurants. Quiet, relaxing; and had the chance to meet several other wonderful families and couples , look forward to returning, thank you hotel aurora team!

...but unfortunately only for holidays! We have just returned from yet another visit to this lovely hotel, set in beautiful surroundings in the equally beautiful and genuinely Italian resort of Sperlonga (or at least it is at this time of the year!). You can find my review for last year, and there is not really much to add, except that... More

This is a little gem of a hotel. Sitting directly on the lovely beach at Sperlonga it is run by the friendliest and most helpful family and staff i have ever met. The first thing that strikes you when you arrive is the abundance of flowers and flowering shrubs of all kinds - and of course the scent of freshly... More

Yes it's a three star but but we've stayed in 4 stars that are not as good. On the beach, lovely terraces, public rooms and gardens to relax in. Room 215 has it's own terrace with sofa and chairs, lovely view of the old town and sea. Some rooms are sea facing but have no balcony. The rooms are average... More

Just returned from four days at the Hotel Aurora early in the season. It was everything the great reviews had led us to believe - welcoming, tasteful, charming, with a simple elegance that had us feeling at home straight away. Round every corner is another surprise, beautiful terraces with lovingly tended plants and flowers, special places to sit and relax... More

had a lovely time here and can't wait to go back , not the most plush hotel in the world but the town, atmosphere and view from the rooms at the beachfront that come with a terrace more than make up for that, enjoyed an old-school beach holiday without larger louts and commercial feel of other seaside resorts...

Having arrived by train and bus following a few days in Rome, we needed somewhere to relax and generally calm down from the frenetic excitement of the capital - we found it here. It has a relatively low 'star' rating considering that everything it boasts is delivered in full. From our first greeting - and drink in the bar while... More
