This is an excellent hotel and quite close, maybe 15 minutes to the airport. Fiumicino is a pretty little fishing town with a long canal where the boats tie up and sell their catch. Mixed in are a few street vendors with the usual street vendor fare. You can walk out to the end of the dock for a fairly... More

The Seccy (set-chee) Hotel is perfect if you need a hotel close to the Fiumicino – Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. It's also very affordable. It is an absolutely beautiful building inside and out. The rooms are clean and they feature updated finishes but it's the service provided by the hotel staff that sets this hotel apart from the rest.... More

Unfortunately, the only fault I can find with this hotel was the location. It was too far from the airport to be an airport hotel and quite a long drive from Rome. I stayed on Christmas eve and of course most things were closed. The hotel is very nice, but the location is not good.

We wanted to stay near Fiumicino Airport as we had a morning flight out and didn't want the stress of a long drive in the morning. Seccy was fine for this purpose and despite what I imagined an airport town might be like Fiumicino was actually quite pleasant with its riverside promenade and multiple bars and restauarants even in the... Arriving the night before embarkation for our transatlantic cruise, we were met at the airport by a shuttle service promoted by the hotel. Our driver was waiting for us with a name sign so we didn't have to search him out. Ten minutes later, we were at this quaint hotel with a small restaurant conveniently next door. We enjoyed a... I stayed overnight in Le Grand Palais Hotel Secci in Fiumicino on October 17, 2014. It was everything the web site says and more. Super clean and quiet room; the continental breakfast was varied and delicious. Bathroom very clean and well-appointed. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The irrepressible Front Desk Manager, Alfredo, set a very... More

This is the best Airport hotel we've ever stayed. Close to the Tiber River; to the sea; brilliant restaurants; clean, tastefully decorated rooms; great breakfast and most of all lovely, charming and accommodating staff at the Reception. We shall return!

We stayed here one night before catching a flight from Rome the next morning. We were surprised by the price, a mere 135 euros. The room was very clean and quiet, large enough, and with a fully adequate bathroom. There are a number of restaurants along the Tiber, a few minutes' walk away from the hotel. We got to the... We stayed for 1 night after our cruise at the hotel. Great location, very friendly and helpful front desk. Our only concern was that the rooms didn't have heat as there is a rule in that hotels were not allowed to use heat until a certain date.

We had a wonderful night here, walking about Fiumincino, having a great dinner, then some gelato and returning to friendly staff. If you need to stay near the airport, this is the place. The staff was very friendly and it was above most airport hotels for sure!
