Right in centre of town. Lord Edward is part of a restaurant, bar, and nightclub complex. Our room was the one in the photo. Huge. Believe or not quiet even though it faced the car park but we were not there during nightclub or live music nights bathroom could have done with a shelf for the wash bag.Breakfast at 6€... More

Fantastic hotel if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Kildare, the hotel is clean, tidy and as you will come to learn about Ireland - the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. A personal favourite of mine is that all the beds all have duvets and not blankets. Breakfast is served in the main building and is... More

Very convenient to the outlet shopping vllage. Staff v friendly food very good. Room can be a bit noisy when the nightclub gets out but overall a very pleasant experience and would definitely stay there again.

Lord Edward. I booked this place purely on the strength of pervious reviews and the fact that it looked quite good on the internet. My wife and I wanted to visit the National Stud and the Kildare Outlet shopping centre so location wise this was perfect. That's about as far as perfection went! The fact that the accommodation was situated... More

We had a beautiful ground floor bedroom that could have accommodated a large party! It had fabulous high ceilings and bay windows and we felt like royalty! The ensuite again was roomy and some basic toiletries were supplied. As we had room only, I can't comment on breakfast, but we ate dinner in the Silken Thomas next door and the... More

My friend and I stayed for two nights 16th & 17th July and were delighted with how well looked after we were. I am just recovering after a very hard year of treatment and this was just what the Dr. ordered. We ate in the dining room on both nights and the food was lovely and priced reasonable. Staff were... Good location, near all visit attractions, rooms are clean, the food is excellent with a great variety of menu, at really good prices. The staff are really helpful and go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We have visited before and have never been disappointed. Good visitor attractions nearby

We had a lovely big room with a full en-suite,very clean and secure. Close to the Silken Thomas Pub or a restaurant, where the food was delicious (we dined in the pub area). Kildare is a small town, close to the Irish National Stud and beautiful Japanese Garden and St Fiarchas Garden, and the B & B was conveniently in... More

Stayed here July 2014. Staff very friendly and food in flanagans restaurant was excellent. Draft beer good too and good prices. Free wifi very good and fast in the room. Car parking free, when you check in you get a ticket to display in your car. To be honest rooms are ok if alittle basic. Our room had a double... More
