We spent a week in this hotel in year 2009 and we really enjoyed it. The hotel was family-runned with nice and helpful owners - a young couple. The spoke well english and german. Our room is very basic, but had almost everything we needed. It was cleaned every day, we also had a balcony with a lovely view to the... More

Our family of four stayed one night in this hotel. Our room had a double bed and two stacked bunk beds for the children. The room was clean, well appointed and opened out to a small balcony. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, though it was impossible to shower without water leaking onto the floor. Though... More

I went with my wife and daughter for 3 days, during the Matala Festival 2013. All hotels were fully booked and we only managed to find a room at Princess Europa. The hotel was set at the entrance of the village, so it took about 15-20 minutes’ walk to get to the beach. The accommodation was very basic, which was... More

We went to this hotel for our honeymoon!!! big mistake, firstly on our arrival the manager was very rude and unresponsive to us, secondly the room was very insufficent and very basic, thirdly there was a wire mesh window in the toilet and shower room and we caught the staff on numerous occasions spying on us in the shower etc,... I like to complain (see my other reviews), but I can honestly say, this place is lovely. The staff are amazing, the location is perfect and I would definately return. It's quiet, it's chilled and it was so relaxing that I extended my stay. If you don't enjoy your stay here, then there must be something wrong with you.

Was very pleasantly surprised what you get here for your money. The hotel is a bit dated, but the rooms are clean and bright, the pool area and bar nice and the breakfast which was described as "continental" in our booking was a huge buffet with lots of choices. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. Yes you do need to... More

As almost 20 years, we spent our vacation again in Princess Europa Hotel. At time of arrival it felt strange not to have the "coming home feeling" as we had the years before. The reception was very cool and like in a big unpersonal hotel, unlike the personal welcome smile we are used to for years. However, as from the... More

A small quiet hotel just 10-15 minutes away from the centre of Matala. Comfortable and clean rooms. The staff always kind and willing to help you. The buffet tasteful enough with many choices. BBQ is totally recommnd it! Good enough hotel in reasonable prices.
