Perfectly equipped cottage.. Home from home. Lovely swimming pool and grounds and Theresa incredibly helpful. We rented the 3 bedroom cottage but larger and smaller cottages on site and rooms in main house.

Our party of five has just spent a lovely fortnight at Peyloubere. The domaine has many acres of gardens and farmland close to the interesting and pretty town of Auch ("pronounced "Osh") in the region of Gascony in South Western France. This is a prosperous and settled area of lovely old villages, rolling hills and valleys and friendly and helpful people.... More

We recently took my 80 something parents on a trip to France and booked ourselves into Les Cedres and Les Rosiers. Both apartments were extremely well equipped and very comfortable. My parents enjoyed sitting out in the lovely private garden in Les Rosiers and breakfasting in the nice big, light kitchen. The apartment was perfect for them as it was... More

A friend and myself spent two relaxing weeks in one of the Peyloubere gites and look forward to my next stay. Beautiful grounds, proprietor Theresa Martin is so warm and hospitable. Location perfect for regional day trips and great advice on this and local restaurants was provided by Theresa. Highly recommend for self catering and well as B&B. Have done... More

We drove straight from Toulouse airport to Peyloubere on a very wintry, rainy, cold evening and could not have had a warmer welcome from Theresa Martin and her friendly dogs! Our rooms were enormous and very comfortably furnished, with lashings of hot water for baths and even some wonderful Jo Malone bath bubbles to pamper ourselves with. We were revived... More

Driving into the westering sun on your second day in a foreign country, you are weary and on high alert...the roads are all new, as are the road signs! It is therefore with great relief that you wheel into the cool green topiaried drive of Peyloubere, to be greeted by "licorice and lemon" retrievers. Warmth is all about, from the... More

This was our third wonderful stay at Peyloubère. The grounds are beautiful, peace and quiet guaranteed. As usual a very friendly welcome from the hostess, always available to offer help and advice. Theresa was unwelcoming and rude from the very second we arrived. She had our flight details, knew when we were arriving and so surely she could have forced a smile! I am very suspicious of all the glowing 5* reviews?!? 1. Cottage was FREEZING and NO HEATING ON even after we asked. We arrived at 7pm in low season (end... More

I will take note of what Rosie says in her review but there are a few points I would like to add. Rosie booked the two bed and breakfast suites for the three nights of 26 27 and 28 September on the 12th March, the total cost being 525euros for three adults, a child and baby for the three night... We could not have had a happier stay here - les Rosiers far exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully, yet simply decorated. Excellently equipped. There was a great stock of DVDs and games as well as plenty of tourist information. Theresa the owner was extremely friendly, on hand if we needed her but otherwise left us to... More

It was a real pleasure to welcome such a delightful family to Peyloubère and I am delighted that they enjoyed their stay. One small correction to avoid misunderstandings for future guests - the pool is in fact heated but by the end of September it becomes difficult to keep the temperature constant with the chilly nights. It makes the cosy... More
