A group of eight of us spent a night at Clos Fleuri after a long haul flight and were made very welcome by the very friendly hosts. The accomodation, service & food were great and nothing was too much trouble. A little gem worth shining some light on.

My father and I stayed at this family run hotel for 5 days in April 2014. We had such a wonderful experience that we stayed there for our whole visit when we were meant to move on. The hotel is simple in it's rooms but they are comfortable and clean. The hotel is central to many beautiful areas, Carcasonne, Saissac,... More

Convenient secure parking in the grounds and close, but not too close to a motorway exit was a good start to our overnight stop. We stayed here at the end of September and enjoyed what the restaurant had to offer at a very reasonable price, including the price of wine and aperitifs. The room included both airconditioning as well as... More

A comfortable bed with real sheets (but a nylon comforter on top = too hot for August!); on the highway but with A/C not over the bed (loved that!) and good insulation so the road noise was not a problem. A great restaurant, good-size portions (no "nouvelle cuisine" here, thank goodness) and small outdoor pool to cool off after the... More

This is a basic 2 star hotel, albeit with friendly and helpful owners and staff. What makes it above average is the kitchen. The menu is interesting and very competently cooked. The short wine list features regional wines at fair mark-ups. This is the sort of 2 star hotel which is preferable to the reliability of a chain, although the... More

The ambience was great here, rooms clean, bed comfortable and owners very helpful. Their enthusiasm and desire to please is what makes all the difference. I recommend this hotel over the local cheap chain ones like iris budget at around same price.

Nice friendly people but sadly not a great hotel. The corners of the bathroom were caked with hairs and overall cleanliness was not good. Also a huge walk along a pretty boring main road to town so not very convenient. You can't even access the canal to walk along it. I think this is more a business hotel. Up-side, because... More
