We have stayed here three years running as our overnighht stop on the way to South France for holiday. The location is superb, being right on the banks of the Loire. Rooms, although basic, have all you need for an overnight. This year my wife and I had one of the suites, which was the best room yet. Great view...

Not modern or fashionable, curious electrical cabling around the corridors and breakfast won't win too many culinary awards, but lovely friendly people, perfectly clean rooms, a convenient location quietly just off a main road, and a great view of the Loire.
An added bonus is the unconnected restaurant you pass driving down the hotel drive; it's superb.

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our trip down to the Dordogne. I chose it as it looked a good place to switch off and relax. I was was correct as as soon as you open the shutters and
see the perfect view over the river you feel better.
The hotel decor is a little tired itself...
