We stayed overnight on our way home from Southern France. The hotel was easy to find, and in a secluded and beautiful setting. We had a friendly welcome and were offered a 15% reduction voucher for the nearby Courte-Paille restaurant. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely view of the Loire and the hotel gardens. Breakfast was... More

Now I'd like to get my hands on this hotel and give it a birthday! Beautiful location on the river, lovely garden, trees, etc. Excellently situated for motorway business etc. But it appears so drab. The rooms are adequate, dated though. The welcome and the service really nice. But it just needs a big cheer up?!?! and a slightly better... More

This was a stopover, chosen for its proximity to the motorway. The building has few frills and is functional. The room was clean and comfortable but I wish there was a sink in the toilet instead of having to open three doors to get to it. Towels were small and thin. Shower was weak and I had to arch my... We enjoyed a brief three day stay at this unprepossessing hotel. It is conveniently located in a quiet area of La Chapelle on the banks of the Loire. We had a refurbished room which was comfortable rather than luxurious and suited our needs. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is good with a nice array of buffet... More

Perfect location just minutes from Autoroute,on the banks of the Loire. Large parking area well lit at night. No restaurant within but plenty within 5/10 minutes walk with hotel giving a discount voucher for one. Excellent wifi, very clean and tidy with extremely helpful staff, some English speaking. Good breakfast available.

The hotel is near the exit/entry to the major motorways and on the outskirts of the historic city of Orleans (a 15 minute drive away). A good value but better restaurant is located in the grounds of the hotel and a supermarket and boulangerie are within 3 minutes walk. Offstreet parking is plentiful and is well lit by sensor lights.... More

I chose this hotel for an overnighter on the basis that it was close to the motorway, there was free parking and free Wi-Fi. Receptionist couldn't immediately find our booking which gave cause for concern but all was well (and explained in very good English). The hotel is out of town, the décor was 'relaxed' but it was wonderfully peaceful... More

This appears to be a quick and simple solution to an overnight stop off the autoroute to the South of France, and with that objective in mind it does well. However, if you want anything more than this you will be disappointed. There is no restaurant on site and your only choices within walking distance are two chain eateries (although... More

Stayed here for one night when driving through France. Pleasant enough hotel but clearly dated. Relaxed and informal and great for a stop over when travelling through France. Breakfast was okay but quite expensive

We used this hotel when travelling through France, as a convenient break point for our journey. Its location is wonderfully convenient, and there's plentiful parking with attractive grounds overlooking the Loire. Our room was comfortable and the family room we had booked (essentially two rooms with interconnecting door) was absolutely ideal. However, the corridors were very gloomy and the overall... More
