My family of 5 recently stayed at villa del sol and had a wonderful time! Let me start by stating that it's probably a good 4 hour drive from Liberia on very rough roads. Next time we'll have a driver pick us up and drive us there and rent a car once we arrive. And make sure you arrive early... More

We came for a night. Lovely lady at the concierge and good coffee. We paid$50 and had a good nite sleep. The beds were foam which did not change the comfort of our sleep. Monkeys hauled in the distance for breakfast. Free safe parking.

This reviewer did not stay at our Villas. He did not have a reservation with us. For proof, we do not charge $50 per night we charge $175 per night. The reviewer stated he stayed 1 night and we require a minimum of 3 nights. The reviewer stated that he slept on foam mattress and be do not have foam... More

My boyfriend and I came to this area to surf and do yoga. Need to drive to both from playa pelada to playa guiones but didn't bother us. Beach in playa pelada is stunning, especially sunsets. Low tide revels the rock under the water so not much of a swimming beach. This property is more like a condo stay versus... More

We're a family of 6 who have lived in Nosara (Playa Pelada in particular) who went back for a 11 day visit just recently. We had known of the complex from when we lived there and knew it was a great location and looked nice on the outside. Thus we looked it up and booked via Gary who was very... More

This is a great place for a family. We stayed in villa #2, which would had two bedrooms. Master with king bed and a single bed with master bath. Second bedroom contained double bed with an additional twin bed. Large living room and kitchen. From home it would be better to bring your own spices, salt, pepper and such. Extra... More

We stayed here during Christmas and really like the quietness of this place. The numerous birds will welcome you each morning with their unique sound and you will hear the monkeys around you. 5 Minute walk to the beach but for surfing we suggest the 10 minute trip to Nosara. Nice place and the care keeper, Daniel, is top.

My husband and I stayed at Villa del Sol with our 2 daughters (18 & 21) 12/14-12/23. Pros and cons depending on what you are looking for. We liked the location as it is off any of the main roads and so it is peaceful and you don't get the road dust. The unit we stayed in was on the... More

Villa del Sol is on Playa del Coco. There is a hotel called Villa Sol (or something similar) on Playa Hermosa, which is 10 minutes away. Villa del Sol offers a hotel area and also condos for rent, all within a gated community that is within walking distance (10 blocks or so) from the main road and within walking distance... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Villa del Sol with our 2 young children and we couldn't have been happier with the accomadations. They were new, nice, and spacious and even have in suite laundry and a dishwasher. The pool is fantastic, the beach is only 2 min away (walking with 2 kids in tow) and the tide... More

We stayed here for 1 month with 2 children under the age of 2.5. It is wonderful. So close to beach, great safe pool, fenced, security, paved road, clean, and huge. The condos are not busy and the kitchen has nice, new appliances. Bring your own spices from home to save money as groceries in Costa Rica are not cheap.... More
