Found the hotel from google and like the style of the hotel. Before making a reservation, frankly not sure if all would turn out as good as its look in the web. It turns out pretty well, actually. Room is nice as well as breakfast arrangement in view of small city boutique wise. Price comparison to facilities and services made... More

We stayed for 2 nights. Just google for the cute hotel and then we tried. It's such a lovely boutique hotel. Looks new and clean. Breakfast was ok too. Bed was comfy. Room is not too small. Parking lots was enough for guests but if not still can park in front of the hotel. Recommended hotel in Ubon. Less than... More

Booked Five nights but stayed an extra Two. Location around 3km north of the centre this quaint hotel is lovely. It's clean and modern. The rooms are very nice indeed with good aircon, fast reliable wifi, hot shower, Flat screen TV, ample storage space and complimentary water. The bed is not hard at all. In fact it made for a... The first choice of mine when I have a trip to Ubonratchatani, clean and modern style. Yes, It's not perfect but acceptable price. Overall are fair: ABF, Car park slot, receptionist, free wifi signal.

We were forced to "find" this hotel when the hotel in which we wanted to stay was fully booked. I'm glad that that happened because we will certainly stay at the Pen Ta Hug again. (The name is an Isan dialect expression meaning "it's lovely" and that's a very fair description.) The hotel is a low rise block with just... More

I have never expected a great experience while traveling to upcountry Thailand. However, this hotel was surprised me by making my stay so perfect. The hotel itself has been very well designed and decorated as a boutique hotel. Staffs, from reception, house keeping to restaurant are very helpful, friendly and very efficient. Breakfast menu was not variety but great especially... More

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We were welcomed by friendly staff, who spoke very little English, but somehow compensated for it with their overall attitude. For 20 Euros we had a modern, spotless clean double room, equipped with everything we needed and breakfast included in the price. Since it was already late in the evening, we decided to stay... More

The cafe open til 11 pm. So I asked for coffee at 9 pm but they said the only one who could make coffee has gone home. Unfortunately, there is no coffee shop around :( They provide only shampoo and hand soap, not bath gel. Bed and Pillow not comfy but other things are ok.

Having tried (and reviewed) many hotels in the Ubon area I was looking forward to trying this place given the good reviews. I would have rated it much higher apart from one thing - the bed. I like firm beds and have slept on some pretty bad mattresses all over SE Asia but the one in room 214 was a... More
