If you want a couple of relaxing days during your stay on Zanzibar, this is a good choice. In Kizimkazi it´s not much to do, except swimming, snorkelling, relaxing, maybe go for a deepwater gamefishing tour, and of course take a dolphintour. I stayed 2 nights in december 2014, together with 3 children/ youths (11, 13 and 17), we had... More

Wonderful and relaxing, beautifully located in the southwest of Zanzibar. Genuine food cooked with love :-) This is the perfect place for winding down. Service can be a bit slow and irregular. Some days it takes two minutes to get the coffee, some days half an hour, which the first days can be a bit challenging for a stressed-out big... More

We spent 2 nights in this lovely hotel overlooking the sea. At high tide, the water is coming till the coral cliff just in front from the rooms. Great for swimming! At low tide, you can walk (being careful of the sea oursins) and fin out to the coral reef. Great snorkeling! Otherwise nice breakfast (included) and nice food in... More

This review looks like made by someone that wants to destroy our reputation due is telling bad things about matters that most of our guests are congratulating us like the food, the cleanliness and the friendly staff. Also is suspicious because if they were really disappointed they could write it immediately after their stay not 3 months later. I doubt... More

This resort is located in a wonderful place, South of Zanzibar Island. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food served is delicious and local. It is worth to try. But don't expect luxury, the resort is cosy and with wonderful views.

I'm just back from spending 5 nights at Karamba resort and I fell in love with it. If you like rustic and peace then you will love this. I really cannot rate this place highly enough. I loved my room, the outside shower, comfy bed and the view from the porch was just beautiful. I loved that the cleaning ladies... More

This resort definitely has the potential to be a 5* rating on tripadvisor but as often there are the small things that make your stay a pleasant experience or an experience that leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. For your stay at the Karamba it all starts extremely well: you arrive on a gorgeous beach where local fishermen also... More

Thanks for your comment which will help us to improve. Seems that all possible displeasing issues happened to your family which is one of the ones that bargained the rate at the departure (as I explained in the other bad comment received) The water at Karamba is safe and can be used for brushing the teeth with no problem. That’s... More

This hotel is set in a beautiful location the local staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms and the food are ok, however water was not always available. At a price of USD 325,- per night for a family room 2 adults, 2 children, bed and breakfast, we do not consider it value for money. Watching The dolphins was... More

Once more this site is used as a personal revenge due the comments are not related with the bad punctuation given = Poor. Those 4 families of Residents in Tanzania with lots of children stayed 2 nights. At the departure they were bargaining the price telling that the relation quality price was not ok, but this could be thought at... More

We only stayed one night and desperately want to return! What a lovely setting right on the beach front! The vibe is also way more chilled than in the busy north. The reception was wonderful and the hospitality made us feel at home. We stayed in the superior bungalows, which are so lovely and clean (and the outside shower is... More
