We stayed in Villegailhenc during our family holiday to Languedoc. When we got there it was not particularly busy but the man serving us got up and greeted us nicely. We were staying at La Maison d'Amiel in Villegainhenc and booked a meal at L'Octavio on our final evening. Xavier asked if there was anything in particular we would like to order and the cassoulet he made us was truly delicious. The best thing about L'Octavio is the warmth of welcome to be experienced from the owners and staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. The service in the hotel is excellent, and offers insight into the traditions and culture of the village, Carcassonne and the South in general.
