I spend my time looking for different places to stop over on our drive down to Ibiza. My criteria is must except dogs, be rural and more rustic in style and have a restaurant with good food and wine so we don't have to head out after a long drive. This ticks all the boxes and we look forward to... More

We visited this hotel with two of our friends while on a voyage of discovery in the Loire. The hotel and its staff could not have been more helpful, good English spoken by several staff and the management ,the rooms were great although the shower was a little weak but everything was really clean and tidy. Great place for 2 to... More

We had a suite that consist of 2 rooms joined , very good for my kids, The pool and Jacuzzi , were great , the views wonderful , so quiet. my kids loved it. The only draw back was the restaurant , It is a very upscale restaurant which means they serve tiny portions for a big price. My older... More

Thanks for all your favourable comments and giving us 5 out of a maximum 5 points. We feel ,as most of our guests tell us that the Colonial restaurant is friendly and welcoming to all, with excellent value for money.Full adult menus (3 courses) start at 29 Euros with the most expensive at 39 Euros.Teenager menus at 21 Euros and... This a colonial-era country hotel with beautiful architecture, welcoming staff and a real air of quality and serenity. The rooms are well furnished and have a historic grandness to them, while the grounds, pool and tennis courts offer plenty of chance for leisure and peace and quiet. The food at the restaurant (itself a delicately decorated space) was also excellent,... More

This hotel has everything to be very good. Except two things - a working wi-fi and a receptionist who would be willing to show any signs of being friendly or understanding. Our room was good, comfortable and spacious, and had everything for a good stay. However, it was impossible to join the wi-fi network. So we went to Reception to... More

We thank you for taking the time to write these detailed comments and are pleased you liked your room and other aspects of the hotel. We were a family of four and wanted a stay in the Loire area after 10 days in the Vendee. We found Le Fleuray on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The service was excellent, with lots of help and explanations when required. The rooms were spacious and comfortable but just a little warm. The restaurant was fantastic for dinner... More

My husband and I, together with our Flatcoated retriever, spent one night here at this charming hotel, enroute back to England from the Dordogne. We truly wished we could have stayed for longer! We had a spacious garden room, with small terrace, which was beautifully appointed. I have never seen so much drawer and cupboard space, with plenty of wooden... More

Stayed one night on our way down to Provence and then three nights on our way back. Had dinner each night and was very disappointed. The menu is very limited and is a case of style over substance (i.e. let's do some swirls and dots over the plate and call it haute cuisine). As you can't walk anywhere else for... More

Thanks for visiting Le Fleuray and we are sad you were in any way disappointed. If anyone reads previous reviews, the satisfaction rate and positive response for our restaurant "The Colonial" is very high.In addition to all our hotel guests we have a large number of discerning, regular local French clients who often come some distance and who also highly praise... We recently visited friends in the Dordogne. On our way out to visit we booked a superior room at this attractive looking hotel, approx. Not too big to be invisible, nor too small to offer the luxury and service that we enjoy. We were welcomed from the moment of arrival by Vincent. The room and bathroom were very good, as... More

A fantastic hotel hidden away in rural France, lovely location and great staff. Stayed here for 4 nights over the Le Mans 24 hour race weekend so the hotel was full. The food was exquisite every night and the hotel and waiting staff catered well for our needs. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature, great for a morning... More
