Sorry, it's going to be a short review as we visited five years ago on our honeymoon. What I can say is that Le Fleuray has left an indelible mark on my wife and I. Whether you are visiting for a romantic break or as a family, or lucky enough to stay while at Le Mans I'm certain that even... More

The hotel is in the rural side. You need a car. But if u choose it, you're not gonna regret. Very nice hotel with very polite employees who speak English and very helpful. The meals are fantastic. breakfast, you should really take. Clean and decorative.

The young lady on reception was freindly and helpful. We had a small room - clean and comfortable, but it wasn't cheap. We ate in the restuarant twice. It was perfectly OK but they aren't really switched on to vegetarians and it's not good value in my opinion. There is a veggie option but they brought chicken as an amuse bouche... More

Pros: A beautiful hotel, comfortable room, wonderful restaurant and welcoming staff. Handy location for visiting Chateau. Cons: Somewhat remote location with limited close-by services. We spent two nights at the Le Fleuray and enjoyed the countryside location and comfortable room. The room was spacious (by French standards), had an excellent bathroom and comfortable bed. The french doors opened on a... More

We stayed here again en route to the Dordogne and had an immaculate room in the building across the garden, as we were travelling with our dog. This hotel is very dog friendly and they are allowed into the Restaurant, if well behaved. Our evening meal was good and the service is first class. We will stay again on our... More

The grounds immediately surrounding this property are beautiful. It is lush green but get very far away and the area is flat and brown. The house is covered in plant material and it does make for wonderful photographs. When you arrive at the hotel you discover that the parking lot is composed of gravel and there really isn't a designated... More

We stayed at this hotel with our friends and with three dogs between us. This was the first time we had taken our dogs abroad and we were apprehensive about the welcome they would get and arrangements for us. We needn't have worried. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and given suitable (and beautiful) rooms... More

In an ideal spot for the first nights in France, within reasonable reach of The Tunnel, this English run Hotel is dog friendly and set within easy reach of many of the Chateau of the Loire. It is very well sign posted and is actually near the village of Dame Marie, in spacious grounds with a good tennis court, plenty... More

With the new French drink driving laws a rural hotel with a good restaurant makes sense. Food here really very, very good and restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Pool and tennis courts for those hot days or to work off those extra calories.

I spend my time looking for different places to stop over on our drive down to Ibiza. My criteria is must except dogs, be rural and more rustic in style and have a restaurant with good food and wine so we don't have to head out after a long drive. This ticks all the boxes and we look forward to... More
