My husband and I, together with our Flatcoated retriever, spent one night here at this charming hotel, enroute back to England from the Dordogne. We truly wished we could have stayed for longer! We had a spacious garden room, with small terrace, which was beautifully appointed. I have never seen so much drawer and cupboard space, with plenty of wooden... More

Stayed one night on our way down to Provence and then three nights on our way back. Had dinner each night and was very disappointed. The menu is very limited and is a case of style over substance (i.e. let's do some swirls and dots over the plate and call it haute cuisine). As you can't walk anywhere else for... More

Thanks for visiting Le Fleuray and we are sad you were in any way disappointed. If anyone reads previous reviews, the satisfaction rate and positive response for our restaurant "The Colonial" is very high.In addition to all our hotel guests we have a large number of discerning, regular local French clients who often come some distance and who also highly praise... We recently visited friends in the Dordogne. On our way out to visit we booked a superior room at this attractive looking hotel, approx. Not too big to be invisible, nor too small to offer the luxury and service that we enjoy. We were welcomed from the moment of arrival by Vincent. The room and bathroom were very good, as... More

A fantastic hotel hidden away in rural France, lovely location and great staff. Stayed here for 4 nights over the Le Mans 24 hour race weekend so the hotel was full. The food was exquisite every night and the hotel and waiting staff catered well for our needs. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature, great for a morning... More

This is a stunning property at very reasonable prices. The garden rooms are very nice and spacious, and the staff friendly and very professional (speak French and English). It is out of the way of big cities, but only 10-15 minutes from Amboise, which has a great chateau. There is a dining room called le Colonial which is reviewed separately,... More

We stayed for three nights during May half term as a family of five, three adult members and two kids. Check in was informal and welcoming. Our luggage was already in our room having been delivered earlier as we arrived by bike. The hotel was happy to accommodate a late addition to our family group in the same room and... More

We stayed in this lovely country Logis for one night on our return from the Dordogne to Cherbourg. We were travelling with our dog, and were given a charming ground floor room that was beautifully decorated, overlooking fields to the rear. The whole ambiance of the place was peace and calm. The meal in the restaurant in the evening was... More

Lovely accommodation either in the main building or in another wing. Rooms look out over beautiful farmland with cows and paddocks planted with bright yellow crop. The hotel can provide bikes to ride, closely (across the road) country golf course. The establishment has a restaurant which is very pleasant. An excellent stay, close to Chateaus and the lovely Loire river.

Situated in the beautful countryside, only 15 min away from many Chateaux de la Loire. Well located. Nice renovated building, cosy clean room and green flowered garden. Clean heated swimming pool and sun chairs, and other perks to enjoy in the sun after a days visit. Helpful staff with the children. Excellent chef and food. Nice greek, asian, etc ingredients... This hotel was a highlight of our recent tour around France. Located in gorgeous french countryside, with wonderful facilities of heated hot tub, heated pool and tennis courts included as well as bike hire. Rooms are beautifully French and there are lovely seating options in the library and gardens to enjoy some of your locally purchased wines, cheeses and other... More
