We stayed for 4 nights at the Lochsa Lodge on Highway 12, we arrived on Christmas day. It was a spectacular time to be there, the surroundings are so beautiful, the lodge warm and inviting. The service excellent and the food filling. We arrived on Christmas day to find a plate a cookies welcoming us into our warm and cozy... More

Stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the Lodge. The cabin was comfortable but no radio or tv. Not a problem for us. The food was hearty and good and the menu extensive enough to be ok for the week. Breakfasts were massive and tasty as was the dinner. We fished every day and loved the river. Staff very... More

I enjoyed most of our visit there on New Year’s Eve. The compound of cabins and main lodge are very nice and well maintained. The foot or so of snow on the cabins and grounds gave it a wonderful storybook feel. We stayed in the Lewis and Clark cabin which was both spacious and cozy. Comfortable king bed, nice couch... Twice now we've had a company retreat here in December with 12 people and both times the staff and facilities never let us down. Lochsa makes a great stop for motorcyclists in the summer but it really delivers in the winter! The main lodge is very comfortable and the casual atmosphere makes anyone feel welcome. The food is delicious and... More

I'm a fan of the Lochsa Lodge, having stayed here four times now, both in winter and in summer. The location is outstanding, the accommodations entirely adequate, the food terrific, and the lodge welcome very warm. I was here in the middle of winter and enjoyed the fog caught in the trees, the roar of the river beside the lodge,... More

While on the middle of an epic motorcycle trip we found a brief respite and fuel at the lodge. We bought only gas but they let us hangout, use the wifi and find accommodations (they had no vacancies). I'm sure we left a little mess from the water off our clothes but they were nice as could be. Will definitely... More

We have stopped here every September for 5 years as we go fish the Lochsa River. Every year we stop and eat a Lochsa Lodge, where their generous portions fill us up for the adventure. Here's a big hint: try the huckleberry pancake. One is enough-- it covers the plate. The staff is fantastic and the setting is beautiful. The... More

My husband and I stopped by Lochsa Lodge for lunch. WOW! We didn't expect to see cabins that you could rent out. Clean, looked comfy and beautiful atmosphere! Great restaurant steps away! A must stay.

Stayed 2 nights at the Lochsa Lodge in one of there rustic cabins. Very clean, airy, and the setting was perfect. Ate 2 dinners and a breakfast there as well. Food was outstanding and very reasonable. Highly recommend this little resort in the mountains. It has everything from a store to a gift shop. Located in great fishing area.

Lochsa Lodge is a great oasis in the middle of nowhere, Idaho. While at Lochsa we stayed in a rustic cabin with electricity but no running water. It was beautiful, quiet, free of internet and phone. The cabin was clean and comfortable with beds, a table and an enclosed porch. Heat was courtesy of a wood burning stove and air-conditioning... More
