My husband and I stopped by Lochsa Lodge for lunch. WOW! We didn't expect to see cabins that you could rent out. Clean, looked comfy and beautiful atmosphere! Great restaurant steps away! A must stay.

Stayed 2 nights at the Lochsa Lodge in one of there rustic cabins. Very clean, airy, and the setting was perfect. Ate 2 dinners and a breakfast there as well. Food was outstanding and very reasonable. Highly recommend this little resort in the mountains. It has everything from a store to a gift shop. Located in great fishing area.

Lochsa Lodge is a great oasis in the middle of nowhere, Idaho. While at Lochsa we stayed in a rustic cabin with electricity but no running water. It was beautiful, quiet, free of internet and phone. The cabin was clean and comfortable with beds, a table and an enclosed porch. Heat was courtesy of a wood burning stove and air-conditioning... More

On motorcycles our bones were weary after a long day from somewhere in Oregon. Not being from the area, we had no clue about the lodge. What a gem of a find! Only one, two bedroom cabin left for our four person party, but so tired - it worked just fine. Clean, cedar aromatic and a comfy bed fit nicely... More

We stayed in one of the newer cabins which although small was perfect. It was lovely and clean and we enjoyed sitting on the porch in the sunshine. The staff here are fantastic, really helpful both on the desk, in the shop and in the restaurant. The restaurant is great, we really enjoyed the blackberry cobbler and the lovely breakfasts.... More

Love the laid back atmosphere & genuinely kind staff. Cabins and baths always clean and food fresh and delicious. Chef put a special huckleberry sauce on our porkchops to accommodate our special request. Trout and brownie sundae were favs.

We are bicycling cross country through small town USA. Our accommodations have ranged from excellent to not so much. Our accommodations here were in the "rustic cabin" (number 7) near the main lodge. The rustic cabin is bare bones accommodations with no running water. You do have access to the shower building which has two full bathrooms (shower, sink, toilet)... More

My husband & I had received a gift certificate to stay here and we are so glad we did. Our room was just right and we stayed "unplugged" for 2 days and survived. A beautiful scenic lodge serves wonderful food served by a staff of people who truly take an interest in providing you great service. If you like beautiful... More

We did not stay at Lochsa Lodge but came across it by chance as we were passing through the Bitteroots. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were ushered onto the back patio of the restaurant, where we were greeted by a cheerful and smiling waitress. The food on the menu was varied and very nicely priced, and we... More

We've been traveling some 3,000 miles over 13 days, staying only at locally owned motels or campgrounds. We found Lochsa on accident, and fell in love. We stayed in cabin #1. Small, 2 double bed, quilt covered beds with a wood burning stove (not needed due to the 104 degree temperatures). No phone, no internet, no TV. Out of our... More
