We spent 5 days at the end of a tour of New Zealand. The motel was clean, well appointed and easy to find. The locum site personnel were very helpful and the information pack highlighted all that was to see in Coromandel. Don't miss the Gold Stamp Museum! We stayed for 3 nights in December and had a great time. The rooms are spotless, have cooking facilites and have a great view of the harbour. What is not mentioned much is that right next to the motel is the start of an attractive path to the town of Coromandel. It takes about 35-45 minutes to walk into town... more

We stayed at the Harbour View Motel in mid-February 2007. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Iain and Angela are the perfect hosts, our accommodation was pristine and the view from the verandah (And from the bed!) was unforgetable.
