We stayed one night in 2 bedroom cottage. Clean & spacious, great electric blanket. Quiet. Heating only just adequate on a very cold winters night. Otherwise cannot fault. Thanks for a enjoyable stay & would stay again.

We stayed at the Colonial Cottages for 3 nights. The cottages are quaint and relatively spacious but the interior is in need of updating. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Location was a little too far out of town, approximately 25 minute walk, and after visiting any of the excellent eateries in the town that was slightly too far,... More

We stayed here for one night in the 2 bedroomed cottage. The cottages are so lovely, very clean and more than spacious for our needs. In need of a little updating inside and perhaps a more "cottagey" theme would be nice. The pool area was adequate but more sunbeds are needed. Owner, Jan, very friendly and helpful in suggesting places... More

We paid $170.00 per night for a two bedroom cottage. And given the photos on the internet, I was expecting a quaint but smart unit. After we had checked in, I realised why most of the photos are external. While the unit was roomy, the decor was dated and shabby. The beds in the second bedroom were suited only for... More

We stayed here two nights. The cottages are very quaint on the outside but not on the inside. For the rate paid I would have expected contemporary or cottage themed decor but it was just a tired motel in the end. Disappointing as the room rate was more like that of a 5-star city hotel but this was more 3-star.... More

We stayed six nights at this motel and it was fabulous, a great decision. We loved absolutely everything about it, the service, the cleanliness, the facilities (including the checked tablecloth for the outside table to eat the fish we had filleted on their fish filleting table). Talk about 'service with a smile'. We will recommend this to all our friends.

Stayed here for a night ,we pitched up one afternoon with out booking and there was a 2 bedroom unit available ,which was very spacious, decor a bit out-dated .Unfortunately that evening and also the next morning there was no hot-water,which was dissapointing as we had been in the sea and were still very salty.Their solar heated pool was coolish too... The cottage was perfect for the two of us. Large clean rooms, well laid out and good clean BBQ. Only downside was weather - rain! But even then the lady owner was very helpful with her local knowledge and turned dim days into a highlight of our holiday. Cottages are about a mile from town centre, a nice walk after... More
