We went to this hotel for a night while our kids stayed behind with the grandparents. I know this is by no means a 5 star hotel, one where the bathrooms are all fancy and brand new or the mattress is a tempurpedic, but in all honesty we did not go to the countryside for that... we went to get... We were treated like royalty on our first of three nights. The room was 60 degrees F in our room. Leonardo builds a fire. When it went out, he rebuilt it and it kept the place cozy and damp free. He also brought an electric heater for the bedroom. We loved the private hot spring tub outdoors and used it... More

We were looking for thermal baths in the area and chanced upon these . It is a very well run set up with several pools of different temperature and jacuzzi pools . Depending on your accommodation you may have your own private jacuzzi next to your " cottage " The rooms are in the form of individual cottages set beautifully... More

We just came back from a wonderful trip to Colombia where this "luxury" hotel was supposed to be a highlight! A beautiful location and well appointed lobby marred by dirty moldy rooms, bad service (not enough employees) and indifference to complaints. The heavy black mold in several rooms was not cleaned during our stay (we checked) despite people having to... More

I am here with a Road Scholar group. The place looks cute from the outside. In our group of 20 there were serious problems with rooms. Two rooms, including mine , had mold growing on the wall. One room had mushrooms growing in the mold. Our second room had a dirty sheet, dirty shower and exposed pipes and raisins on... More

I recently went to Termales el Otono for a business trip in Manizales. I flew in to Pereira (Matecana Airport) which accepts larger planes like the A320. It is about an hour drive from Pereira to the hotel. While you could fly in to Manizales, know that the airport (which is actually about 10 minutes from the hotel) is extremely... More

We stayed there for 1 day and then came back 2 days for Christmas. Service and food was average, they have computers available, but no wifi on room for us traveling with laptop. Our little cabana was nice with our own hot tub in front porch, nice classic country colorful decoration. They have a big main hotspring pool and other... More

If it wasn't for the location (in a valley surrounded by mountains) and the fact that it has thermal natural waters, I'd never recommend staying here to anyone: it's quite expensive and you don't get half of whay tou pay for. There wasn't hot water in the room so they had to change us in the middle of the night.... More
