Last year we stayed at the Telegraph House and commented on its excellent location, beautiful restoration; elegant furnishings and wonderful owners. This year Vicci and Jon greeted us like old friends and provided the same warm hospitality as before. They easily accommodated my wife's food allergies. Jon's Eggs Benedict (with home-made Hollandaise Sauce) were as good as ever. The breakfasts... More

We visited here two different times and both times we have enjoyed ourself immensely. Our rooms were so comfortable and the food was fantastic. We definitley will be returning soon. Our first visit was in 2011 and our second April 2013

My wife and I happened upon Port Stanley on our tour around Lake Erie. Port Stanley was a pleasant find, and the Telegraph House made our stay so much more special. Wonderful location, great breakfast, and lovely porch for enjoying the cool evenings. The restored interior is worthbthe price of admission!

Telegraph House is an elegant, perfectly restored Victorian home that once belonged to the local telegraph agent. Its location on Main Street, just across from the harbour is within walking distance of all local restaurants and attractions. The view from the porch of boats in the water and pedestrians on the street is delightful. Rooms are very spacious and accommodate... More

We have just returned from another trip to Port Stanley and a visit to the Telegraph House. We have stayed here several times before and are never disappointed. It is just a beautiful spot to stay! The rooms are top notch and the breakfast is delicious. Jon does a wonderful job of cooking up the best perch we've ever eaten.... More

This delightful bed and breakfast sits across from the harbor at Port Stanley. It is a real 19th century home, once the home of the local telegrapher. This a a comfortable, homey B & B. Rooms are large, well appointed with period fixtures and furniture, immaculate. Bed was fluffy and soft. Bathroom was a trip unto itself with a huge... More

My husband and I spent a couple nights at the Telegraph House this past week so we could visit with his cousins who were vacationing in Port Stanley, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have been to a number of B and B's over the last twenty plus years and can safely say that this B and B has... More

I'll make this review short. Port Stanley has quickly become a favourite destination for us and on a whim, we decided we wanted a room during the recent Civic long weekend. The only place available was the Telegraph, which was fine as we had admired the B&B in prior visits. Upon checkin in, Vicci greeted us and right away just... More

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. I also had to apologize to the room guests that rented above you for your noisy return to the house at 4:30 a.m. and your loud shouting and banging during that early morning time and the retching sounds from your bathroom at breakfast. I did provide a large bottle... More

Jon and Vicci could not have made our stay more comfortable. They are warm and welcoming people experienced in the hospitality industry. You know people are passionate about what they do when they spend to attend expensive conferences to benefit their guests. The Telegraph House is 5 star and the food matches. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it made... More

We had the pleasure of experiencing a stay at The Telegraph House. Its Victorian Heritage was complimented by its attention to detail echoing the era, yet recognizing the comfort desires of the modern day traveller; tastefully done. The term, 'Bed and Breakfast' is an understatement; the Breakfast was beyond the standard Continental Type Breakfasts often seen at B & B's.... More
