We travelled to Port Stanley to watch a play at their local theatre. We were pleased with the beauty and quaintness of Port Stanley. We had two couples in our group. We stayed at the Windjammer Inn, a local B7B. We found the accomodations pleasing and cosy. We had booked their dinner package. Excellent service and great dishes. I thoroughly... More

We decided last minute to visit an Art show in Port Stanley and booked the Windjammer last minute. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice cosy rooms with comfortable beds and a humongous tasty breakfast in the morning. The common areas are well appointed and the sun room offers a nice view. All rooms have their own bathroom but none of them... More

I visited Port Stanley back in June (for a high school reunion) and opted to stay at the Windjammer Inn for the weekend as it was close to the main beach and just a hop, skip, and a jump from all the little restaurants and shops in the village. I wanted some privacy and a bit of elbow room (beyond... More

My husband and I stayed at The Windjammer for two nights. It is an old B&B, but our bathroom was completely renovated and very nice. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. There is a nice little cheerful room where you can make a coffee and sit and read. The dinner was wonderful with great attentive service. The breakfast... More

A theme "everything barbecued" was advertised for Saturday, July 19th. Chicken, ribs, fish. We were a party of five, waited for 1 abd 1/2 hours for our meal. After the initial drink order we did not see a server, only rushing by, averting our eyes. No bread basket, no butter, nothing. Also no apology when finally, might I say, dainty... More

Upon a recommendation from a local vineyard, I decided to stay at the Windjammer Inn. It exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back. I was greeted by name upon arrival and the the check was incredibly laid back, they made me feel right at home. The room was delightful, bright and airy with a lovely bathroom, robes and... More

Whilst visiting my family we took in a trip to Port Stanley and the Windjammer was recommended to us. We actually stayed a couple of nights there and had dinner too. If you are looking some some true good old fashion service and cooking then look no further than this place whilst in Port Stanley. It really is so nice... More

We went here to celebrate father's day and loved it. We knew it was going to be great when we got a bit turned around and lost - it's what we do - and Leslie stayed on the phone with me and talked us right into our parking spot! We were in carriage house 1 and it is a charming... More
