My husband and I stayed here for a night before taking the Nova Star ferry back to the United States. We arrived quite late but Sue said there was an open restaurant not too far away, gave us directions, and said she would take care of the registration when we got back. We found our room to be very large,... More

We visited Nova Scotia this past month. My Great Grandfather came to Gloucester,Mass.(my hometown) from Pubnico,NS back in 1900. I wanted to stay one night in Pubnico to start our trip. At YesterYear's B & B. Mike and Sue the hosts were very nice and their home was comfortable and inviting. The beds were great too! The breakfast was excellent as... More

After about 10 days of B&B/motel beds this place had the most comfortable bed. We had the best sleep since starting our vacation. We also had wonderful, friendly hosts, a beautifully decorated room and a delicious breakfast. Wish we could have stayed another night.

Took a ferry from St John's NB to Digby, NS then drove to the Acadian region of Pubnico. Sadly, it was a very quick visit. Spent only one night and stayed at Yesteryears B&B. The room was charming and very comfortable. It was a little warm that day/night but the oscillating fan was plenty to keep cool. The ensuite was... More

My wife and I enjoyed two very nice evenings at Yesteryear's B&B in July, 2014. The owners, Sue and Mike were gracious hosts and provided excellent service. The century home is very nicely decorated, pleasant and clean and is centrally located for easy access to the many attractions in the area. Breakfast included both hot and cold options and was... We spent two nights and were very comfortable. The rooms were nicely decorated and quite comfortable. Sue is a delightful hostess, helpful in telling us about the area and serving tasty breakfasts. We were very glad to have found this place while in the area to tour the Acadian village.

My wife and I had a delightful 2-night stay in this wonderful B&B. The property is exceedingly clean, well appointed, and thoughtfully run. The bed was extremely comfortable, the setting lovely and quiet, and the breakfast large and delicious. We loved touring the Acadian coast, and Pubnico is just enough off the well-traveled tourist route to retain its interest and... More

We chose to situate ourselves close to the Acadian village reconstruction on the peninsula at Pubnico SW of Yarmouth on a recent tour of Nova Scotia. We spent two nights at this lovely bed and breakfast. Our room was very large with a sitting area and ensuite bathroom. The room was decorated with antiques and lovely quilts. The bed was... More

We loved our stay at Yesteryears! Sue was the perfect host, making us feel very welcome and cooking a delicious breakfast. Our room was large and comfortable and the B&B was ideally situated near the historic Acadien Village. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Nova Scotia.
