My husband and I stayed 10th April for 1 night. The place has plenty of character and very welcoming. The staff are very friendly and could not do enough for us. We arrived quite late in the afternoon, had a relaxing time in the hot tub followed by a lovely meal and drinks later in the evening. The food and... More

After a mediocre meal several month ago we decided to stop while walking our dog for a drink. The pub is listed in the dog's friendly pubs so we never though this would be a problem, especially when I remember that several month ago the pub's dog, a big German shepherd slept near our table during our meal. However we... More

Ate here mid December ....good sized portions ... Quirky pub...nicely decorated. We did not stay overnight as we live locally ! Might be worth them advertising.....we are new to the area and only came across this pub by chance!!

It is difficult to write a review of the worst place you have ever stayed although to be fair I have only travelled in the civilised world and have never camped in a tent. And some people might want to pay 21st century prices to stay in a 300 year old building steeped in history and accept the lack of... More

Decent pub food, not pretentious and although only one ale on tap, it was good. Quite a comprehensive wine list. Reasonably well priced. Lovely open fire, helpful staff and a very nice resident german shepherd

I used to be a regular customer at the Kings Arms until 30 years ago. On returning there a few weeks ago, it has to be said that very little has charged in the main bar. It still has a lot of old world charm and a welcoming log fire. We were staying at a bed and breakfast very close... More

What can I say about our stay at the Dusthole!!!! Tony and Daniel were the perfect hosts and very welcoming upon our arrival. The room, it was different in that it wasn`t your bog standard Prem Inn or travel lodge which made the room very individual in its approach. As for the bed,........HUGE and comfortable!!!! On to the food, as... More
