Booked this B&B for a one night stay with my son. The B&B is located around 20 minutes walk (1 1/4 miles from the pier) and costs just under £10 by taxi from Brighton station or the number 6 bus passes by the end of the road and cost £2.40 for an adult. Initially I emailed asking for a parking... More

Clean and comfortable. As a female on her own I felt safe and secure. Optional parking a real bonus for Brighton at small charge. Good location and easy reach of local shops and restaurants with Brighton centre and seafront a short walk away.

When we turned into Seafield Road, I got the impression that this was going to be, at best, a bit of a downbeat guest house; at worst, a dump. That was based on the feel of the particular road in which it's located, which appeared to comprise a lot of multi-occupied terraced properties. Despite my initial forebodings, once we entered... I will not hesitate to book again to stay at Seafield House if vacancies when returning to Brighton & Hove. The breakfast was delicious, the bacon and sausages particularly good. There are lovely touches throughout, complimentary wine, chocolate and of course tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. I stayed in the Wilbury Room which was light and airy with large window... This was our second visit to Seafield House. While we were still received in a friendly way and the room was comfortable we were very disappointed with the two breakfasts. If you don't want full English don't bother. My wife's kipper was still frozen. She sent it back but received no apology. No decent fresh fruit, yoghurt or bread. Service... More

We've just returned from a two night stay in Brighton and found the guest house exceeded our expectations. It's a guest house and not a hotel, I think that's the key to remember. We arrived later and out of hours and were able to access our room easily. The room we stayed in was at the top of the house... More

Lovely hotel. Right near the main shopping and eating areas of Hove. Staff were friendly and helpful, although the reception desk should have a buzzer system to attract staff attention should they not be manning the desk. Breakfast was delicious and served piping hot. Would definitely recommend to others.

Really enjoyed staying here, felt very comfortable. Have stayed in a few hotels in Brighton and this was definitely the best. Had breakfast every day and it was exceptional every time - one of the best breakfasts I've had. Loved it and would stay again.

I have just returned home from a 4 day visit to Hove. I selected this B & B for its location and I thought, for its 4 stars. First impressions were good. Especially all the little touches, of chocolates, wine etc. I would rather they spend the money on repairing the bathroom floor. I had the room with the splits... More

Very nicely redone 19th Century luxury home in the heart of Hove. A lot of thoughtful touches here that I've not seen elsewhere in the very competitive B'ton & Hove B&B scene: a complimentary split of wine (& 2 glasses) to welcome you. An in-room frigo with free drinks! High end shampoo & conditioner (!) & soap. Comfy bed &... More
