First off, do NOT stay here if disabled. Had real trouble with the stairs and doors, really inaccessible. Room bog standard, bed were okay, peeling paint on the walls, not all the windows opened and bathroom was horrible. Only good thing to say about this place was the price- was reasonably cheap. Otherwise would avoid. Didn't end up staying here... More

Quite often I stayed in this hostel before, but that was when it used to be under different ovners (st. Christopher's inn) Sines mid 2014 place place became "hostel point brighton" I called to book room two weeks before my weekend in brighton I called "the place " and asked about prises and available rooms I was told that for... Myself and 4 friends booked 2 rooms at this hotel for a birthday celebration. On arrival the hotel looked very nice and we were greeted by the reception staff and checked in. When we got to our room we immediately noticed how warm it was, we tried to use the wall controls but to no avail and we couldn't open... More

I stayed in 6 bed female dorm. Very basic, but what I expected from a hostel. However I was told I would have a sea view from the room and did not. I was informed before I got there that I would be provided with a towel if required but when I checked in I was told that they "didn't... More

I recently stayed in this central hostel for the first time and was a bit dubiuos of sharing a dormitory with total strangers, but to my surprise it was ok! but advisable to take your passport, labtop or phone, wallet out with you or lock it away somewhere safe. rooms slept 4-6 people and has excellent en suite facilties in the room..... Booked a private room, no towel provided, which the website states it does for private rooms, room was pretty shabby, though didn't expect much for a hostel, though it still cost £50 for one night in a tiny room with single bunk beds, which were very hard & uncomfortable, according to the website, all rooms have seaside views, our view... Booked a weekend stay for 12 people and this was perfect for our needs. Nice basic accomodation in great location. If you want somewhere to leave your gear and sleep whilst enjoying this great city then this is for you. If you are after a proper hotel experience then I would book elsewhere.

I think it has the potential to be a good place to stay - decent rooms with sea views, good location etc - but unfortunately the experience was spoiled by the attitude of the staff. They very much had the approach of 'that's not my problem' and 'I can't deal with you right now' - their job is to deal... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst shooting a documentary in the area. This hostel is in the most perfect location for Brighton sea front. The rooms are okay - no massive problems just get what you pay for. Friendly staff and good bar atmosphere on the night.

Been here again one month ago with a girl. Interesting and lovely again exactly like past summer (when I've been here alone instead). Kindly asked for a double room moving and the staff accepted it! This is the place where you should be for short or long stays in Brighton, just in front of the sea! Recommanded
