Booked a weekend stay for 12 people and this was perfect for our needs. Nice basic accomodation in great location. If you want somewhere to leave your gear and sleep whilst enjoying this great city then this is for you. If you are after a proper hotel experience then I would book elsewhere.

I think it has the potential to be a good place to stay - decent rooms with sea views, good location etc - but unfortunately the experience was spoiled by the attitude of the staff. They very much had the approach of 'that's not my problem' and 'I can't deal with you right now' - their job is to deal... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst shooting a documentary in the area. This hostel is in the most perfect location for Brighton sea front. The rooms are okay - no massive problems just get what you pay for. Friendly staff and good bar atmosphere on the night.

Been here again one month ago with a girl. Interesting and lovely again exactly like past summer (when I've been here alone instead). Kindly asked for a double room moving and the staff accepted it! This is the place where you should be for short or long stays in Brighton, just in front of the sea! Recommanded

Didn't stay here - but came for a few drinks before going to Digital Nightclub. Cheap drinks with lots of deals including 4 Sols for £10 and cocktails buckets for £10. The chips were decent too. Watched rugby before a DJ came in and the place livened up. Not sure I would stay there though - very young crowd.

I have stayed in two other hostel's since my last visit to St Christopher's, and was relieved when I could go back there! This hostel is absolutely fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful; they go out of their way to give you the best possible stay! The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was also clean and tidy!... More

This is a hostel with a bar, you have to expect there's going to be some noise. Obviously I didn't mind it, I found it made for a fun atmosphere. Only downside was one roommate who was bothered by even the tiniest bit of noise, complained constantly. She is not the targeted clientele and if you are like her, don't... More

Spent two nights here last November. Truly awful place! Dirty rooms, bad layout of place, poor breakfast options, rubbish music being played loudly all night in the bar downstairs - on a Monday night! Generally a bad experience staying here. Enjoyed the rest of Brighton and Sussex though!

We stayed here one night on a weekend trip to Brighton, couldn't have asked for a better location, the national express dropped us right outside and they let us leave our bags there before check in. Its right opposite the pier and surrounded by clubs, bars and fish n chip shops. The dorms were clean and had a bathroom ensuite... More

I have stayed in many St Christopher's hostels because they always have great locations, clean rooms, lockers under your bed to keep your belongings safe, great breakfast and AMAZING staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They are the most upbeat, helpful, informative happy go lucky lot I Have ever had the pleasure to meet. Esp in Brighton. In particular... More
