This place is now called Hostelpoint. Pros - great location, cheap (£50 for night) and room a decent size, albeit basic. Bunk beds were ok, not amazingly comfortable but ok. Shower had decent pressure. Reception staff were pleasant. Our room was quiet even though we saw a couple of stag parties staying here Cons - haphazard layout up and down stairs... More

Had a nice (private double) room with great view. Shower and toilet working perfectly fine, just that the door was a bit transparent. Other than people still talking really loudly outside at 3am, the whole stay was okay.

Omg i know hostels have a bad reputation but this has put me off for life. Firstly dont tell them your disabled and need easy access as they just ignore you and out you on tjird floor with no lift windy stairs with ripped carpets. Room was actually ok i would have stayed but no tv no wifi and having... More

The good....and bad. Lovely staff, great location, great prices IF you just want to kip, don't care about noise and don't plan on spending any time whatsoever in your room. Noisy at night (to be expected, we didn't care but if you're a light sleeper - avoid) Bunk beds fine, closed in shower awful (claustrophobic, bit yucky, door didn't shut... More

First off, do NOT stay here if disabled. Had real trouble with the stairs and doors, really inaccessible. Room bog standard, bed were okay, peeling paint on the walls, not all the windows opened and bathroom was horrible. Only good thing to say about this place was the price- was reasonably cheap. Otherwise would avoid. Didn't end up staying here... More

Myself and 4 friends booked 2 rooms at this hotel for a birthday celebration. On arrival the hotel looked very nice and we were greeted by the reception staff and checked in. When we got to our room we immediately noticed how warm it was, we tried to use the wall controls but to no avail and we couldn't open... More

I stayed in 6 bed female dorm. Very basic, but what I expected from a hostel. However I was told I would have a sea view from the room and did not. I was informed before I got there that I would be provided with a towel if required but when I checked in I was told that they "didn't... More

Booked a private room, no towel provided, which the website states it does for private rooms, room was pretty shabby, though didn't expect much for a hostel, though it still cost £50 for one night in a tiny room with single bunk beds, which were very hard & uncomfortable, according to the website, all rooms have seaside views, our view...
