We picked this B&B as we were given some vouchers for which this accommodation is listed and it is near places we wanted to visit. It turned out to be a very lucky choice. Everything about the rooms is the of best quality, just as I would choose. The two rooms are reached through a comfortable lounge and dining a... More

We stayed for four nights and we absolutely loved everything about the stay, location is superb, stunning scenery and very quiet. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you can need provided. We enjoyed the living space which is beautifully furnished and decorated, with breakfasts always thoroughly enjoyable. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay and couldnt... What a delightful experience. The B&B is at the rear of the main house and is a beautifully converted barn with it's own parking. My wife and I stayed at Manor Barn for two nights while we attended a Wedding in Stourpaine - the next village. We were warmly welcomed by Cari, our hostess as we got out of the... More

We took both rooms for a special break with some friends recently Quite isolated but with superb walks & some reasonable pubs/restaurants close by. The option of taking both rooms means you have the whole place to yourself, frequently staying in quality B&B's we questioned how it may have been if we had shared with an unknown couple as the... I stayed at Manor Barn for three nights whilst in the village for a family wedding. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a rest and a base for exploring this gorgeous countryside. The room was beautiful and warm with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Cari was a magnificent hostess and made delightful breakfasts and... More

Stayed at Manor Barn only one evening this past November, but it was outstanding! Cari Sorby was a gracious hostess and very helpful in recommending and reserving a wonderful place for dinner. Our bedroom was large and comfortable, with all the amenities. Our companion couple also enjoyed the Manor Barn immensely. Very lovely common sitting room and the English breakfast... More

Manor Barn B&B must be the best B&B I have ever stayed in. It is quite simply beautiful. If you book a stay here you will not be dissapointed, we are already planning a repeat visit. The B&B part of this property is a seperate annexe so you get a lounge/dining room 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite & use of... More

I stayed at Manor Barn with my family for 5 nights in June 2012 and we found everything was exceptional and would recommend a detour to stay at this charming location.Cari our hostess looked after us marvellously and nothing was too much trouble. In addition to a large bedroom there is a large drawing room/ dining room exclusively for guests.... More

Gorgeous B&B, quintessential English and everything you could want for a stay in Dorset. Its rare to find a place that you feel even more comfortable in than in your own home but this is it. Stunning classic decor, quality furnishings and accessories (white company all the way!) plus an amazing breakfast served to suit your needs. All the character... More

Stay in B&B – you have to be kidding. Only a close friend’s recommendation allowed me to try this place. This one defies the rules. Boutique hotel 5 star standard, exceptionally welcoming hosts who suffered my car alarm, dogs and child with humour and grace. Two lovely bedrooms and large sitting room make this a very attractive destination if you... More
