This hotel is fairly simple but is clean, beds comfortable and bathrooms OK. There is Wifi available and air conditioning and a lift. The bus stop for Gölbasi is right outside the hotel. The breakfast room is pleasant with a nice outlook. The staff respond to a smile and a Merhaba (Hello ) greeting. The hotel is very good value.

Hotel Arte offers nothing extra. The rooms are basic and not particularly clean, the breakfast is very basic (coffee, bread and undrinkable juice etc.), but this is well reflected in the price (we paid 35 euros for a double room/night - note that there are big differences in the price depending on how and where you reserve it). The location... More

We stayed in two rooms for 2 nights during July when temperatures were 40c plus. The hotel rooms were clean, comfortable and well air conditioned (thankfully!) making for peaceful nights. The location of the hotel is central and is positioned on a busy road leading to all of the main sights of Urfa. Staff friendly enough (only limited English spoken)... More

When I arrived in Urfa I had a bit of trouble adjusting, as few people spoke English and the town was difficult to navigate. I'm sceptical of Arte's claims to "bilingual staff" as I had trouble convincing reception that I'd already made a booking and paid a booking fee. Similarly, claims to "24-hour check-in" did not stand up as I... More

We found that the hotel was good and clean. The shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. The toilet and shower were separated by a sliding perspex screen. The breakfast was a very good Turkish style meal. Surroundings were excellent. Although English was a slight problem but the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There... More

The hotel is worn and not clean, except for the restuarant. Staff in reception did not speak English, looked stressed and were uncaring. Our room overlooked the noisy main street and was very basic (2 star) with ancient TV with no international channels. The shower had large cracks (see photo). Better go to other hotels close by or even Ugur... More

I stayed at Hotel Arte for one night, and wouldn't have chosen to stay for a second one. It's true that the staff are kind, the location is central, but then again almost all hotels and guesthouses are close to the centre since Urfa is not a big town. The room, although it looked tidy, was quite dusty and unattended.... More

The hotel was clean, in the centre of town and the breakfast was excellent. The problem came when I tried to pay with my signature- activated credit card. It was not accepted by the hotel staff - they insisted that I must have a pin number. The only member of staff who spoke English was Mehmet the waiter who kindly... More

We stayed at the Hotel Arte for 2 nights in January. The room was adequate. It was clean but not much larger than the beds. As it was a triple, that may be the reason for the tight squeeze and I did not see any other room. The bathroom was also very clean and lots of hot water. The lounge... More
