The hotel had appeal from photos of decor. It didn't disappoint, and our room was quite comfortable with a good view. But more importantly to us, we had a couple of problems while there that the staff helped us with. We had scheduled a tour guide for a day tour. The guide never showed up and, being a Sunday, we... A mature couple we had requested a quiet room in the Manici Hotel in June: we spent the 6 nights booked in a deluxe room (no 350 on the 3rd floor at the end of a long corridor) which we were not aware was next door to a common area party room called Urhay. Twice during our 6 night stay... More

We had standart 2person room, but reception staff gave us suit room. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel has a different decoration like Ottoman palaces. There is a must, tell reception guy to go 'sıra gecesi'. It is a traditional food and music night. At night, hotel's garden is beautiful.

Its location (just above the Pool of Abraham) is great, but everything else about the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The flamboyant decorations serve to cover up old and sometimes decrepit furniture and fittings. The rooms are small, the beds are cheap, the curtains thin, our WC rocked and the water was only warm. The breakfast was OK... More

Having arrived to Sanliurfa late in the evening we got warm welcome from the Manici hotel staff. The room we booked through booking.com at discounted price was really nice, so there was no difference with other rooms (we got an unpleasant experience in Istanbul a night before). Room was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast included typical local food... More

Manici is located in the heart of Urfa's old town. The building, although new, reflects the mystic lines of the local architecture. Interior decoration is a mad indulgence of many styles; mostly overdone. Rooms are decent sized, bathrooms are small but clean. Everything in the room is a house maid's nightmare, from silky bed spreads to hand painted minibar door.... More

(Apparently the Hilton has alcohol as well, but the Manici is the one if you want to be really central in the old town.) There is more to the Manici though. It's very attractive – especially the old courtyard hotel which it has incorporated, "Narli Ev". There's a pomegranate tree in the courtyard. Expect a lot of noise though, from... More

I loved the atmosphere in this place. Though the decor may be a little too much for some, it really does take you back in time and has a pleasant traditional courtyard for breakfast. The staff were very helpful and it is in a great location. One step out of the hotel and you are in a fabulous world of... More

This is a $100 hotel. When I booked it, I didn't expect much. And it met my dampened expectations. Rooms are superficially clean, although they could use a thorough scrubbing between the cracks. Room was medium sized. Very dark . Staff helpful but little English or Arabic. Well located hotel
