We stayed in a deluxe double room with patio for two nights, having dinner at the Orangerie on the second night. On entering the room we were struck by a strange smell, not strong but unpleasant and lingering throughout our visit. Possibly it originated in the bathroom. Another fact that struck us was the extreme plainness of the accommodation. The... More

We stayed here for just one night. The hotel lies on the property of a manor house, at the edge of the village, close to a protected natural area. Renesse is a bizzy place, with a lot of young people around in summer, but you won't hear a thing at the hotel, that lies very quietly. Not too expensive, good... More

We had received this hotel booking as a present. It was booked through Vakantie veilingen. The girl who was doing the check in, was taking her sweet time to get to the reception desk. Although she had the voucher number etc. she insisted in a very unfriendly way, we had to show the voucher(which we didn't have, since it was... More

Located a short walk from Renesse, this hotel whilst ideally located to explore the local area lacks any character or charm. The rooms are simple boxes with sparse furnishings and feel uninviting. The bathroom was a pleasant surprise as it was spacious and contained a large open shower rather than a tiny cubicle. Breakfast is taken in the only room... More

We stayed with our two small kids for a week in summer with a special arrangement including one 3 course dinner in the Orangerie, which is the restaurant attached to the property. We enjoyed the quiet location and the spacious modern rooms with the nice cosy terraces facing west out on a meadow, so we could enloy the sun in... More

Friendly welcome, even on our very late arrival. We enjoyed the quietness, the comfortable beds, the sound of birds in the morning, the minimalist but nice room decoration, good size bathroom, outside terrace. The best thing is the breakfast in the morning served in the tastefully decorated conservatory. Other +s: free parking, free wifi, close location to the village and... More

The hotel is just outside the small town of Renesse. That's good, because Renesse gets very busy in summer. It's still within walking distance (20 min). The rooms are in a modern building built onto the old conservatory. The conservatory is where meals are served. The rooms are good, recently refurbished with good taste. There was a Nespresso machine with... More

After having spent our honeymoon in this hotel we wanted to visit it again and we loved our short stay. The hotel is always great, with a special charm. The staff was very friendly again and we had a very good and romantic dinner in their special and intimate restaurant.

The "landgoed" (Estate) has both an old little castle and a recently renovated 70/80's type of hotel on it. The castle is only in use for private parties and businessmeetings, so when you decide to stay here, it will most likely be in the rather bleak looking hotel. The rooms are clean (although bathroom didn't look like it had been... More

The staff was very nice. We booked a cheap room and they upgraded our room for free as it was our honeymoon. It was very nice. They also asked the restaurant to make a special dessert for us, which was delicious. The room was very nice for its price and the surrounding was beautiful. Everything was very charming and the...
