Nice experience in a very nice area. Beautiful and quaint surrounding, beach is nearby and Domburg isn't much far by walking (I remember 20-25 Min. walking). Rooms are clean and basic hostel style, shower is very good, the breakfast is average at best compared to other hostels. (it starts at 8.30 A.M.) Make sure to check the public transportation timing,... More

Stayed in August in the 6bed dorm , the tower room! (nr 11) All 4 kids had a great! time. It is a bit of a walk to the castle with 4 kids and half your household stuff for 3 days but found out later you can borrow their "bolderkar" We came by car and you do have to pay... More

Stayokay is a Dutch Hostel that takes the hostel experience and provides a nicer than normal stay. We have been doing Stayokay for years and are not necessarily big hostelers but they do a good job at providing, cheap, cheery and family oriented accommodations. Domburg is probably one of the nicer stayokay's we have done with its setting in an... More

Beautiful moated Castle hotel with basic but clean rooms with bunk beds and communal bathrooms. We arrived in good time to eat at the hotel but due to Holland playing football (they lost!), they apologised as they had shut the restaurant early, so we ate in town instead. The bar in the evening was packed and the staff and other... More

The rural location near the sea is very beautiful. The hostel is housed in a very well maintained seventeenth-century castle with a moat. We arrived on a summer evening. The room on the west side of the castle was very hot and could not be effectively ventilated because the building lacks mechanical ventilation and the windows cannot be opened wide.... More

If you've stayed in a Stay Okay Hostels then you can feel pretty confident about the generous breakfast and overall cleanliness and this one met those expectations. It is very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was quiet and in a beautiful setting.

Maybe I am oldschool, but I stayed at this place years ago (in 1992) when it still had the atmosphere of a real youth hostel in a castle setting. Loved it, although you have to make sacrfices in terms of comfort, but that is what a hostel is all about. Nowadays, the rooms are steril and spartanic, the matraces are... More

Tha place is wonderful, Domburg is a very beautiful small city, and the castle is beautiful as in a fairy tale. But the room was unfortunately so dirty, full of settled dust, spiderwebs on the windows, ... The "bathroom" was unacceptable, the drain in the shower was pretty blocked, so that the water stood... The breakfast was *very* simple, they... More

When I rolled up on the bike outside the Chateux I was blown away. This place has a moat, lakes, a manicured box hedge rear garden by another lake and breakfast included in the price. There were 6 of us staying in one of the turret rooms at 35 euros per person , it was simple and clean with amazing... More
