The stuff is not helpful. I have not received an invoice asking in vain. Just making promises! All pre-paid cash and did not even get my breakfast because the next day there was no staff in the hotel at 9:00 am. Old, smelly, run-down. I do not recommend to anyone!

Old and worn-out installations, terrible spongy bed, very small synthetic eiderdowns, no toiletries (3 shampoos), no hair-dryer, no airco… the only thing we liked was the location, on the famous Vinkeveense Plassen. There is nothing to justify the price which is equal to what we paid in some excellent B&B's around Europe. We don't recommend.

Restaurant only: Knowing this venue from over 20-years ago gave the impuls to revisit it again. Although the outside looked down-trotted, the inside gave a better impression. However not up to what was remembered from the past unfortunately. But the kitchen and food quality was very good, and the service was very amiable.

It's quite a way out of Amsterdam so a car is necessary. It is situated within a bar/restaurant which is frequented by locals and is very noisy. The room was very musty and smelly, pillows awful and no security in the room. We used a chair to chock up the door. The wifi is supposed to be included but didn't... More

The Budget Hotel De Plashoeve is an interesting combination of basic comfort at a rock bottom price. Located adjacent to a marina just off the A2 about 15 minutes south of Amsterdam, it's worth considering as an alternative to double-priced budget hotels near Schiphol or in town. The hotel is set in a residential neighbourhood of high-end homes lining a... More

We were attending a family gathering at Vinkeveen, so were looking for something close. The pub/bar seemed friendly enough, staff were helpful on arrival. The motel section was pretty old, 60's I'd say. However the room was big enough, the bathroom small and leaking plumbing (which was fixed). Cable TV and wifi were supplied, no aircon but the weather was... More
