This is a nice little hotel right on the beach in Texel. The town center is a short walk away. Staff is friendly, breakfast is pretty good for such a small hotel.

The first night we had a nice room on the second floor, but we had to move to a room on the first floor because regular guests wanted their room they have taken every year since their honeymoon (which was like 20 years ago). On the one hand, it's nice that they take care of their regulars like this, on the other hand it was disappointing because the new room had a much worse view, basically what we saw was the roof of the restaurant instead of the beach we saw on the second floor.

The rooms were excellent, the water bed took some getting used to. No complaints, I can recommend this hotel for a stay on Texel. more
