We were three friends that stayed in the hotel for one night, and for what you get it was fine. It is a bit away from the town, de Koog, but we were aware of that and didn't mind. When we arrived the bar was closed, but when we asked in the reception we found out that it was because... More

On the face of it and from their web-site, this place has all the elements that make a quality 3 star hotel compliant with international standards - furnishings, decor, restaurant, bar, large car park etc etc., but in my opinion, although it may match up on many points it lacks that extra something – charm and personality. First impressions are... More

The hotel is advertised as being in De Koog, but it's important to know that it is actually 1.5km outside of the town of De Koog. Also important to understand that there are two types of rooms: hotel rooms and apartment-style rooms. The hotel rooms are like 'normal' hotel rooms, with bedding, towels and come with breakfast in the hotel... More

We spent three lovely days in this hotel, including New year's eve 2013. The hotel is large, the rooms are nice and spacious, good lightning, big bath room in "deluxe' room, huge bath and a nice view on New years fireworks from our window. The food is very good, the restaurant cosy, the staff helpful and friendly. I would rather... More

The hotel is quite large and somewhat impersonal. The rooms are clean and spacious, (we had a deluxe room, which has a nice large bathroom). Although undoubtedly with good intentions, the smell of disinfectant cleaners in the corridors is quite overwhelming and leaves the impression of a hospital or nursery home rather than a hotel. Breakfast is really nothing special.... More

Stayed here at the end of July with my son on a cycling holiday. The hotel is really quite large. The public spaces are modern and well-presented. Our room (2 single beds) was very small with a tiny bathroom and a shower over the bath. The single beds were very narrow. We ate in the hotel. The menu was short... More

The hotel is clean, good size rooms and a comfortable atmosphere. The upkeep of the hotel was to a high standard. Breakfast was good quality. Free WiFi. I enjoyed the hotel and its accommodation and would stay here again. There are several issues that need to be addressed however to change the hotel from good to excellent. There were no... More

The hotel was a nice place to be. On the day we arrived we take our dinner at the restaurant this was very good and tasty. Also the breakfast was very good. From the hotel you can walk in the woods and to the beach. We enjoyed our stay.

We were with a group of approx 100 people. Everybody was enthusiastic about this hotel and the hotel was able to serve a (very good) dinner in a short period so that everyone could have dinner at the same time. Hotel offers additional services such a bike rental (recommended)

If you look for a place for sleeping and breakfast this hotel is ok. The rooms are of good size, fresh and clean. The mattresses are a bit too soft but acceptable. The towels in bathrooms were fresh and new, but the size of a dishcloth. The breakfast was ok quality with enough choices, but served in a typical environment... More
