We stayed in Hotel Brinkzicht for 5 nights in August.

The first thing we noticed about the hotel when we arrived was the great location, it was right in the middle of De Koog, close to all the shops, bars and restaurants. It is one of the main roads into De Koog but there was little traffic noise at night, as it is such a quiet place. The only noise at night was from passing revellers who freqeunt the clubs in De Koog (there are only a couple). However this was only on one occassion and we got straight back to sleep. We were offered the use of earplugs on arrival in case the noise kept us awake at night but it wasn't that bad at all, however it was the end of the season.

The rooms in the hotel are basic but quite spacious with plenty of storage space, we had a lovely view onto the main street. The bathroom was small but very clean and the shower was good, although it went from hot to cold a few times. The towels were small - really bath towels would of been... more
